Worried about scarring from eyelid surgery? For the right patient, there may be another option.

A transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty, often called a “scarless” lower bleph, is performed through the inside of the lower eyelid. There is no incision on the skin itself.

Under-eye bags are often caused by fat pads that push forward over time. This can be genetic, or it can happen as the supporting tissue under the eyes becomes thinner and weaker with age. With this approach, those fat pads are repositioned to help create a smoother contour under the eye.

Every patient’s anatomy is different, and the right approach depends on a careful evaluation. Results vary from person to person.
