The Monthly Hag
This week, someone made a huge error in judgement. They broke-in to our shop window, defiled our sanctuary, and worst of all stole a beloved bass from Adam, our candle-maker. The foolishness in attacking a witch store and thinking there will not be consequences will not go unpunished.
Justice comes to those who deserve it. And we shall be its instrument.
Change is a good thing
For the last few years, I have been taking a back-and-forth approach with my classes. One month was Irish Mythology and the next a how to, beginner, or development style class. A lot of the second type tended to have multiple classes on the topic and with doing every other month they drug on and on. For example, the Psychic Development series ended up being a 6-parter that lasted a full year. Interest, understandably, dropped off.
So now it is time to change.
Sadly, I am going to be discontinuing the Irish Mythology classes. BUT where something ends new grows. I am going to be starting a monthly Irish Devotional similar to our An Morrigan Devotional. On the second Sunday of the month, starting next month, we will meet for about an hour to discuss and learn about the gods, the heroes, the tales, and how we can apply any lessons to our daily lives. We will start the session by calling in the gods, give offerings (not mandatory), read the mythology and/or go on a guided journey, discuss, then close and go about our day.
So then what will classes look like?!?! We keep on the path of how to, beginner, and development. For the rest of the year, we will finish up the Intro to Tarot class. On Oct 26 we will be going over the suite of Cups, November Swords, and December Pentacles. Beginning in January I will be going back to the Psychic Development class. It starts with an introduction class on what exactly it means to be Psychic. The next 5 classes dive into the Clairs and include fun practice exercises.
I guess the only question is…what’s the cost? That is an easy answer. My classes always run $15 and will stay there. The Devotional is free to attend. To me those are ways to honor my gods and that’s more then enough. We learn, we grow, we start all over. Thank you for growing with me!
