Crist Wellness Co. has grown and changed in ways we never could have fully planned. Through every season, we’ve continued to pray over what’s next, trust where God is leading us, and stay focused on why we started in the first place.

We’re so grateful for every person who has been part of this journey, and for Katie and Salon Sashay Salt Spa for giving us a place to grow and call home through such an important chapter.

We’ve shared one big piece of what’s coming next… but there’s still a little more to the story. Any guesses?!? 👀

Want to squeeze the most out of your tox? 💉 Here’s what you should know:

1. A little movement doesn’t mean it’s gone. Seeing movement start to return around 8 weeks can be completely normal. Tox gradually wears off — you’re not necessarily supposed to stay totally frozen for the full 3–4 months.

2. Your dose matters.
Nurse Specialist Jasmin personalizes every treatment based on your face, your movement, and the look you want. The right amount is different for everyone!

3. Your lifestyle may play a role. Extremely active? Some research suggests higher levels of physical activity may be associated with a shorter duration of effect. That doesn’t mean you should stop working out — it’s simply one factor to keep in mind. And on treatment day, we recommend skipping intense workouts, hot yoga and the sauna for the rest of the day.

4. Zinc is interesting. 👀 Botulinum toxin’s mechanism involves zinc, and limited research has looked at whether zinc supplementation can influence treatment response. But correcting a deficiency and taking high-dose zinc when you don’t need it are two very different things — so don’t start megadosing just to make your tox last longer.

The biggest takeaway? 🤍
Sometimes your tox isn’t actually “wearing off too fast.” Your dose, expectations and individual response may simply look different from the studies you’re comparing yourself to.

A grateful update from Nurse Jasmin ✨

I have some joyful news to share with you all!

Our family is growing + we are expecting our third baby in December. I will take maternity leave beginning in December and plan to return mid-January.

B U T that’s not the only thing growing, changing, + expanding. So are WE here at Crist Wellness. With lots of incredible things coming and changing - STAY TUNED!! 💖

Nurse Kim will be here so your care can continue while I am out.

I am so thankful for your patience as we walk through this season. This community has been such a gift, and I don’t take for granted the trust you place in us every time you walk through the door.

There is also so much I’m excited about here right now.

The work isn’t pausing. It’s simply being held with extra care while I rest and welcome this baby.

If you have visits you’d like before December- please book October and November soon. Those weeks fill quickly with the holidays and I would love to see you before leave 🫶🏼
