I got to take my son on a trip
It was for school
And I got to show him what I do
And why what I do is so special

I got to share an important part of history
A beautiful story about perseverance in such challenging times for humanity
A time when the world existed in much different ways
And yet
In some ways exactly the same

Traditions are sacred
To be a part of in such incredible ways is an honor

And of all the places in the world, this special place exists just 3 hours from our home

Yesterday was an incredible practice
We showed up

WUSHU opened a necessary door
Making a decision and sticking in discipline has created a deeper understanding for what is possible

We have a choice until we don't
