Utilizing multiple modalities like myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point release, muscle energy, stretching, and with the healing help of Himalayan Salt Stones, Gua Sha, and cupping C.O. The benefits of receiving regular massage is unmeasurable. A 60 min massage can equal about 8 hours of sleep. Each individual treatment is based on the client's personal needs and range from therapeutic, stress relieving, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, and positional release. It's that time again! Come and get all your massage, scar, or post injury questions answered. Receive some amazing massage work or just share some moto stories. As an active rider and LMT, I love sharing little nuggets that help people get back in action and out riding. Another month, another ScarWork Clinic second Thursday of the month, Oct 9th, 4:30pm at the Motoshop Bend.

Scarwork is effective for old scars, new scars, or even injuries without scars. This gentle technique helps improve circulation, lymph flow, and softens fibrotic tissue. It releases adhesions from the trauma integrating the tissue into more functional tissue.

Whenever I talk to people about ScarWork, I always hear, " It's an old scar, and it never bothers me." Our bodies adapt so well that we create compensations to help to continue to move even though the scar tissue is not as functional. Sometimes we create unknowingly dysfunctional patterns that create other compensating patterns of movement. You never really know how much a scar is hindering you until it is truly integrated into the surrounding tissue. If you are curious to learn more.
