One of the greatest blessings of my work is the opportunity to sit with people in so many different seasons of life. đ¤
People often seek Reiki and coaching during times of transition, uncertainty, heartache, and emotional distress. My previous work prepared me well for holding space for people navigating difficult emotions and experiences. Iâm so grateful for that.
But one of the things I love most about my practice today is the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with clients. To get to know them over time. To be a witness to their growth, their challenges, their healing, and all the beautiful, messy parts of being human.
Last month, a regular Reiki client came in carrying deep grief following a personal loss.
Our session was different that day. The energy was different. The way I held space & approached the session was different. Because they were in a different place, and what they needed was different.
Thatâs one of the beautiful things about a regular Reiki practice. It meets you where you are.
On days when you need rest, relaxation, and restoration, it can offer that. On days when youâre navigating grief, emotional overwhelm, or simply need a safe space to feel and release, it can support that, too.
Itâs something thatâs difficult to fully explain if you havenât experienced it, but itâs how Iâve come to know Reiki, both as a practitioner and a receiver.
Yesterday, that same client returned for another session. They brought along a handwritten piece of paper filled with their reflections on grief.
And we sat together and talked about it.
What a gift it is to have another person trust you enough to bring their thoughts, their questions, their heartache, and their reflections into a shared space. Not necessarily looking for answers or solutions, but simply wanting to explore what it means to be human together.

Iâm sharing one small thought from that handwritten page. Itâs simple, but perhaps itâs something someone else needs to read, reflect on, or hold close today.
