🎃☕ Happy Pumpkin Spice Day! ☕🎃

Love pumpkin spice? Order the latte. Wear the sweater. Light the candle. Put pumpkin spice in literally everything. 😂

Hate pumpkin spice? That’s okay too. You do you.

Because here’s the mental health reminder hiding underneath all that cinnamon:

You don’t have to like what everyone else likes—and you don’t have to make someone feel bad for liking what they like.

We spend way too much energy worrying about whether something is “basic,” “cringe,” “weird,” or “not our thing.”

But if something brings someone a little joy and isn’t hurting anyone… let them have their pumpkin spice. 🧡

Be yourself. Like what you like. Let other people like what they like.

Sometimes protecting our peace looks less like changing someone’s mind and more like saying,
“Not my thing, but I’m glad you enjoy it.”

🎃 Be authentically you. Be kind to people who are authentically them.

So...Are you Team Pumpkin Spice 🎃 or Apple C***r? 🍎

☕ Your coffee break can be more than just a caffeine refill.

Sometimes mental wellness is found in the small rituals we build into our day—a quiet cup of coffee before everyone wakes up, catching up with a friend over coffee, stepping away from your desk for five minutes, or simply sitting still and enjoying something you like.

You don't always need a big self-care routine.

Sometimes it's just:

☕ Taking a few minutes to breathe
💬 Connecting with someone you care about
🌿 Stepping away from the to-do list
📵 Putting your phone down
🤍 Giving yourself permission to pause

Small moments of care add up.

So today, enjoy your coffee. And while you're at it, give yourself permission to slow down for a moment, too.

How do you take your coffee—and where's your favorite place to enjoy it? ☕

Awareness Month May Be Ending. The Conversation Doesn’t Have To.

September gave us a reason to talk more openly about su***de prevention, but supporting one another doesn’t have to end when the calendar changes.

As Su***de Prevention Month comes to a close, we want to leave you with this reminder:

You don't have to have the perfect words to make a difference. You just have to be willing to reach out. 🤍

Check in with the person who has been quieter than usual.
Send the text.
Ask how someone is really doing.
Listen without immediately trying to fix everything.
Let someone know they don't have to go through a difficult season alone.

And if you are the person struggling, please know that asking for help is not a burden. You deserve support, compassion, and a safe place to talk.

Su***de prevention isn't something we should only think about in September. It's built through the everyday moments of connection, kindness, listening, and reminding people that their lives matter.

Let's keep the conversation going.
Let's keep checking in.
Let's keep showing up for one another. 🤍

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Who is someone you can check in on today? Send them the text. Make the call. Let them know you're thinking of them.

What Are You Ready to Let Go Of?

September 27 is National Crush a Can Day—and while it's a silly holiday, we can turn it into a reminder about letting go of things that no longer serve us.

If you could crush one thing you've been carrying around mentally, what would it be?

The need to make everyone happy?
Guilt about something that happened years ago?
The belief that asking for help means you're weak?
An unrealistic expectation of yourself?
A mistake you keep replaying?

You can't always control what happens to you.
But you can begin deciding what deserves to keep taking up space in your mind.

Letting go doesn't mean forgetting.
It doesn't mean what happened didn't matter.
Sometimes it simply means:
"I don't want to carry this the same way anymore."
That's a valid place to begin.

Comment with one word for something you're ready to release—or keep it private and write it down for yourself.

Write Yourself a Love Note

September 25 is Love Note Day. Let's turn it inward.

We are often much kinder to the people we love than we are to ourselves.
Imagine writing a love note to yourself.
Not about how productive you were.
Not about what you accomplished.
Not about how you look.
Just about who you are.

Try:
"I'm proud of you for making it through that difficult season."
"You are allowed to make mistakes."
"You don't have to have everything figured out."
"You deserve the same patience you give everyone else."
"I'm glad you're still here."

You don't have to believe every word immediately.
Sometimes self-compassion starts with simply practicing a kinder voice.

Write yourself one sentence today that you would want someone you love to hear.

You Don't Have to Earn Rest

September 24 is Innergize Day, making this a perfect opportunity to talk about rest and replenishment.

You don't have to finish everything before you're allowed to rest.
You don't have to be completely exhausted.
You don't have to check every box.
You don't have to prove that you've worked hard enough.

Rest is not a reward for productivity.
It's part of taking care of yourself.

Sometimes inner wellness looks like:
-Taking a quiet morning.
-Putting your phone down.
-Saying no to another obligation.
-Taking a walk.
-Watching something that makes you laugh.
-Going to bed early.
-Doing absolutely nothing for a little while.
-Your worth isn't measured by how much you accomplish.
-Give yourself permission to pause.

What's one thing you can take off your plate this week?

Hispanic Heritage Month: Mental Health Is Part of Whole-Person Health
Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15 and runs through October 15.

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate culture, history, family, traditions, and the many contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.
It's also an opportunity to remember that mental health is part of overall health.
For some people, seeking therapy can feel unfamiliar.

There may be concerns about stigma, family expectations, language, cultural differences, or the belief that you should simply "push through."
But asking for support isn't a failure to be strong.
Sometimes strength looks like saying:
"I need help."
"I don't want to keep carrying this alone."
"I want something different for myself."

Mental health care should make room for the whole person—including culture, family, values, identity, and lived experience.

This month, let's continue making space for conversations about mental health in every community.

Your Mental Health Check-In

September is National Su***de Prevention Month and Recovery Month. Rather than making every post heavy, this can be a gentle Sunday check-in.

Before the week starts, check in with yourself.
Not just:
"How am I doing?"
Try asking:
💭 What am I feeling?
🧠 What has been taking up the most space in my mind?
💛 What do I need more of?
🚫 What do I need less of?
🤝 Who can I lean on if things get hard?
🌱 What's one small thing I can do for myself this week?

You don't have to solve everything today.
Sometimes awareness is the first step toward taking care of yourself.
And if your answers tell you that you're struggling, you don't have to handle it alone.

Save this check-in and come back to it whenever you need a reset.
