Our Healing Garden is officially open!

On October 11, we were honored to celebrate the dedication of this special space at our Bethesda home. The Healing Garden offers a meaningful way to honor someone special through a personalized commemorative brick while supporting Hope Connections’ free programs for people affected by cancer and their loved ones. Everyone is welcome to be part of it!

A heartfelt thank you to Oldetowne Landscape Architects for bringing our vision to life, and to Amy & Mike Aquilino, in whose honor the Hope Connections Healing Garden is dedicated.

Remembering Bonnie Kogod

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Bonnie Kogod, one of the co-founders of Hope Connections and the wife of our late co-founder, Bernie Kogod.

We are forever grateful for the vision and compassion Bonnie and Bernie brought to our community. Their belief that no one should face cancer alone helped create a place where thousands of people have found support, connection, and hope.

We will carry their legacy forward for generations to come.

Our hearts are with the Kogod family during this difficult time.

And just like that, we came to the end of an incredible day. 💙

What started with a beautiful morning on the course ended with our community coming together to celebrate, reflect, and support a cause that means so much to so many.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made this day possible: our golfers, volunteers, supporters, and especially our sponsors. Your generosity and commitment help make it possible for Hope Connections to continue supporting people and families affected by cancer.

And then, it was time to hit the course. ⛳️

The carts headed out, the first swings were underway, and the tournament was officially in motion.

From great shots to plenty of laughs, high-fives, and time spent together on the green, every moment was a reminder of what this day was really about: coming together to support Hope Connections and make a difference for people and families affected by cancer.
