It was a pleasure meeting the team at Sleep In Mind LLC today and seeing the beautiful space Dr. Buckley designed with her patients’ best sleep in mind! Sleep and metabolic health go hand in hand, and I’m excited to connect obesity medicine with sleep medicine to support our patients’ health beyond the scale. 💤🛌 We both opened our practices in 2025 in buildings right next door to each other!

We’re all trying our best to eat well and avoid ultra-processed foods. But sometimes we can only be healthy-ish and that’s okay. It’s the overall big picture of incorporating fresh fruits and vegetables when we can, and in settings with limited time or options, choosing ways to maximize our nutrition. I keep ground flaxseed in a jar in my fridge to add to pancakes, smoothies and oatmeal for extra fiber and healthy omegas. Did you know flaxseed should be refrigerated?.
