Movement is medicine.
Kristen Hardin always knew that as a clinician. But she’s learned that lesson the hard way, like most everyone else — and learned it over and over again in each season of life.
As a physical therapist, she could tell you the science behind why Pilates rewires your body. But her story is the real proof. Her “why.”
The ankle sprains she thought she’d live with forever. The structural hip problems that seemed inevitable — until they weren’t. Two pregnancies where she felt vibrant and strong. A postpartum recovery that didn’t have to steal her strength. And most recently, a humbling reminder that even she is like every other busy midlife woman out there and needs to practice what she preaches.
Pilates isn’t magic. It’s mechanics. It’s precision. It’s consistently showing your body how to move in a way that protects it, strengthens it, and lets you keep showing up for your life — for the stairs you climb, the kids you chase, the years ahead.
