Good health information should help you make decisions, not just tell you what to buy.
A supplement can have a beautiful label. A food can say "natural." A wellness product can have thousands of five-star reviews.
None of those things automatically tell you whether it is high quality, supported by good evidence, or right for you.
Health claims are everywhere, and some sound more convincing than the research behind them.
This October, for Health Literacy Month, we encourage you to get curious. Ask where the information comes from, what evidence supports it, and whether it applies to your individual health.
Learning to ask better questions is part of learning to care for your health.
