I had the opportunity to visit our new building at Vitalogy Wellness & Med-Spa earlier this month and watching the vision come to life has been incredibly exciting.

This expansion represents so much more than a new space. It’s the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Vitalogy, and I truly can’t put into words how grateful and thrilled I am for what’s ahead.

So, what can patients expect? A thoughtfully designed space, expanded offerings with a large emphasis on men’s health and hormones, and an elevated experience centered around helping you feel your very best.

We can’t wait to welcome you into the new office.
I will continue to share this journey with you…so stay tuned for more updates. 💜

You wake up between the hours of 1–3 am almost every night. Sometimes you fall back asleep. Other times, you find yourself tossing and turning all night.

Your periods aren’t predictable anymore. You’re experiencing irregular cycles or missed periods. Some periods are heavy, others are light. There’s no consistency.

You’re gaining weight (especially around your midsection) even though your habits haven’t changed.

You’re experiencing mood swings or just aren’t feeling like yourself. You find yourself more anxious, irritable or overwhelmed.

These are all signs it’s time to stop guessing, and start testing.

Thinking about testosterone replacement therapy but worried about fertility? This is an important conversation to have before starting TRT.

While testosterone replacement therapy can help improve symptoms associated with low testosterone, exogenous testosterone can suppress the body’s natural production of testosterone and s***m, which may negatively affect fertility in some men.

That doesn’t mean you have to choose between feeling your best and protecting your future fertility.

Here at Vitalogy Wellness, we take a personalized approach to hormone optimization—looking at your symptoms, labs, goals, and whether fertility is part of the picture. When appropriate, we can build a treatment plan designed to support your hormone health while taking your fertility goals into consideration.

Your treatment plan should be built around you—not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

If you’re considering TRT and want to understand your options, reach out to us to learn more about creating a personalized hormone plan.

Longevity isn’t about just living longer. It’s about preserving the strength, mobility, independence, and quality of life that allow you to actually enjoy those years.

It’s being able to travel, walk your neighborhood, get off the floor, carry your bags, play with your grandchildren, and wake up feeling capable in your own body. And the habits that support that future are built decades earlier through how you move, eat, sleep, manage stress, build muscle, and care for your health today.

The goal isn’t simply more years. It’s more life in the years you have. 🤍

Here are a few simple habits to live longer:
* Maintaining balanced hormones
* Exercising regularly
* Strength training
* Prioritizing whole, nutrient-dense foods
* Eliminating sugar
* Limiting ultra-processed foods
* Staying well hydrated
* Eating fermented foods
* Walking after meals
* Aiming for 7–9 hours of quality sleep each night
* Managing stress
* Managing blood pressure

The foods you eat provide the building blocks your body needs to produce hormones, support healthy metabolism, regulate blood sugar, manage inflammation, and support the systems responsible for hormone balance.

Think of this as a hormone-supportive grocery list, not a prescription or a promise that one food can “fix” a hormone imbalance.

Here are a few ideas of foods to incorporate to support each hormone:

Estrogen: flax seeds, cruciferous vegetables, berries, legumes & seeds
Progesterone: leafy greens, avocado, eggs, salmon, nuts & vitamin C-rich foods
Testosterone: eggs, quality protein, seafood, leafy greens, olive oil & seeds
Cortisol: fatty fish, blueberries, chia seeds, avocado & fermented foods

And remember: your symptoms are information. If you’re experiencing fatigue, irregular cycles, PMS, low libido, changes in body composition, sleep issues, or difficulty conceiving, adding more “hormone healthy” foods may be helpful—but it’s also worth understanding what’s actually happening in your body.

If you want to have healthy, balanced hormones, start with what’s on your plate.

Balanced meals can help support stable blood sugar, steady energy, healthy digestion, satiety, and the nutrients your body needs to make and metabolize hormones properly.

Think: protein + fiber-rich carbohydrates + healthy fats + colorful produce.

For example, instead of having coffee and a piece of toast and wondering why you’re starving an hour later, build a meal that actually supports your body: eggs + avocado + veggies + berries.

And this is important: no single food is going to “balance your hormones.” Your hormones are influenced by the bigger picture — nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, body composition, and overall health all play a role.

The goal is to give your body enough of the right nutrients, consistently. That’s where the magic of balanced meals comes in.

Signs of low progesterone are:

- You’re experiencing hair thinning or increased hair shedding
- You notice spotting between periods
- Your cycles have become shorter, irregular, or unpredictable
- You feel more anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally reactive than usual
- You’re having difficulty conceiving

Low progesterone is one of the most common hormone imbalances affecting fertility. But here’s the thing—it’s NOT the real problem.

If you’ve been told your progesterone is low, or even tried supplements without success, ask yourself:

WHY is my body struggling to make enough progesterone in the first place?

Here are a few of the most common root causes of low progesterone:
✔️ Stress & high cortisol – Steals from progesterone production.
 ✔️ Blood sugar imbalances – Disrupts ovulation & hormones.
 ✔️ Thyroid dysfunction – Slows progesterone production.
 ✔️ Inflammation & gut issues – Impacts hormone absorption & balance.

💡 Your body is not broken. It’s just trying to tell you something.

If you suspect you may have low progesterone, call or email us to book a free consultation to discuss your hormone health.

09/24/2026

Testosterone plays a vital role in a woman’s health — influencing everything from metabolism and muscle mass to energy, mood, libido, and overall well-being.

So when testosterone levels are too low — or, in some cases, too high — you may notice that something simply feels off.

Signs of low testosterone in women may include:
• Low energy or persistent fatigue
• Decreased libido
• Difficulty building or maintaining muscle
• Reduced strength
• Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
• Low mood or irritability
• Changes in body composition

Signs of elevated testosterone are:
• Acne or oily skin
• Increased facial or body hair
• Hair thinning or hair loss
• Irregular menstrual cycles
• Changes in body composition
• Increased oil production or skin changes

Hormones are deeply interconnected, and symptoms alone don’t always tell the full story. Looking at your testosterone levels alongside the rest of your hormonal and metabolic picture can provide much more meaningful insight.

Ladies, when was the last time you had your testosterone levels checked?

If it’s been a while — or you’ve been experiencing symptoms that don’t feel like you — call or email our office to learn more about getting started with comprehensive hormone testing.
