The healthiest energy drink on the market has arrived

Red Bull was one of the earliest products I attempted to rebrand into a healthy sounding option, but it has been YEARS since that attempt. I’ve been going back and re-imagining some of my earlier rebrands, and I like this new rebrand much more.

If you saw this Halo energy drink on shelves, would you try it?

If you thought protein labels were crazy before, check this one out.

Came across this video from Aaron Cooper showing the ridiculousness of this product. I don’t know what kind of labeling regulations they’ve got in Australia, but I thiiink this one should be looked into.

Everything doesn’t have to be protein. Everything doesn’t have to be sugar free. Everything doesn’t have to be whole foods.

Sometimes, food can just be fun & delicious.

Since I post videos where I rebrand “unhealthy” options into “healthy” options, people seem to think that I’m either anti-sugar or that I have Big Sugar in my pocket.

I am, and have always been on, Team Moderation. Reese’s cups shouldn’t be a dietary staple for you. Nobody is out here saying you should eat candy all day every day.

But if you’re around Halloween candy and you love yourself some Reese’s or Twix or Skittles, then my official stance is that you absolutely should enjoy some.

Because life is WAY too short to be afraid of candy.

Brands veryyy rarely say their product is “healthy” because it’s now a regulated term (technically still going into effect with updated regulations) and healthy is super subjective, so it’s not worth a lawsuit.

Instead, brands typically say the product is new or different or better, and it lands just the same.

Be on the lookout for any brand that puts “healthy” straight up on their labels, because it’s very rare to see!

Holding a label in my hands that I designed just never gets old. TRUELY officially had a fresh new look!

Not huge changes here, because this is a successful brand that is happy with their brand identity overall, but enough improvement to make a difference in the long run. Since my rebrands are usually pretty drastic, I wanted to show you what a real brand refresh looks like.

I’ve been a customer for years, so getting to design these labels has been so cool. Also…

1) This is the best protein cereal in terms of taste, texture, macros, and ingredients. For real.
2) I have a discount code (MATT) if you wanna try the cereal, because protein cereal is pricey. This one is worth it, at least.
3) My favorite flavors are Maple Waffle and Honey, but they’re honestly all great.

The new boxes just started rolling out, so there’s a chance you’ll still see an older design. But the product itself is the same, don’t worry!

This was a fun little idea I had on a “quick trip” to the grocery store. It only took me 2.5 hours in the store to find and count them all 🫠. But anything in the name of protein, I guess.

There’s a great chance I missed some in the process, and I bet stores like Walmart and Target have even more than this.

But let’s see how good you are at guessing.

Rebranding one of the GOAT candies into a healthy option. If you don’t like candy corn, you’re just plain wrong.

Hey Brach's, let me know when you want to bring protein candy corn to life. I know a guy.

I’ve never had soda before. Nobody ever believes me, but it’s 100000% true.

This was exactly one year ago so I thought it’d be fun to bring it back for everyone new around here. Since this taste test, I have had zero soda (although I did try one protein soda) so it’s safe to say that it did not win me over.

I purposely didn’t include orange soda or root b**r here because obviously you can tell the difference, but maybe I need to do a round 2 of “other” soda flavors and see what happens.

Reese’s Pro+ are now a thing…

Kind of. Technically they’re called “Reese’s Big Cups,” but with a little branding and marketing magic, these can instantly become a high protein option.

And truthfully, ANYTHING can be rebranded to sound healthy. That’s what I do on my page, so follow along if you want to see how I turn other “junk” food into healthy options.
