Think of injectables as enhancing your features, and resurfacing as improving the canvas underneath them.

That’s Layla’s line, from her fall note to patients. Botox softens wrinkles. Filler restores volume. Neither one can correct the actual texture, tone and quality of your skin.

That’s the canvas. Uneven pigmentation, texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, the dullness summer leaves behind. It’s a separate job, and it isn’t one or the other. If you already do tox or filler, you’ve been working on the features. When the skin looks smoother, clearer and healthier, your whole face can look more refreshed.

Alma Opus, Pico Laser and VI Peel are all part of our fall specials through Saturday, October 31. Book face and neck on Opus or Pico and the chest comes with it free. Laser hair removal is on sale too.

Designer bags on the counter. Then the total comes up and it's the sales tax that's ridiculous.

Layla has heard this one more than once, and she has the face for it.

Nobody likes sales tax, us included. It isn't ours to keep and it isn't ours to skip. It goes straight to the state.

To be clear, this isn't aimed at anyone who asks about their bill. Ask away, we'd rather walk you through it than have you guess. And it isn't aimed at the bags either. Good taste is welcome here.

What's the smallest charge you've ever complained about? Be honest.

If you'd like to know what a plan costs before you're standing at the counter, start with a consultation. It's free, you get the full picture up front, and nobody gets talked into anything. Call or text 612-770-0000.

VI Peel is a very mild chemical peel, and it's where Layla likes to start.

A lot of people have a vision in their head but don't know how to get there. Layla's answer is to start with the skin itself. In her words, starting off with good skin is probably the best way to do it.

If your skin's been looking a little dull and you want some glow, this is the easy first step. VI Peel makes it for every skin type, and we carry three versions: Original, Advanced and Body. Not sure which one fits you? Ask when you call.

VI Peel is part of our fall specials through Saturday, October 31, with savings on Original, Advanced and Body.

A laser is not a human. It can’t tell what it’s looking at. All it sees is color.

That’s Layla’s line, and it’s the reason laser hair removal has a season. Hair is color. So is a tan. So is a spray tan. The laser can’t tell them apart, so if you come in tanner than usual, Layla has to turn it down or you wait for the tan to fade. A normal tan takes about ten days, and every wait pushes your finish line back.

It’s a series, about a month apart. Start in October, stay consistent, and you’re looking at March or April. That’s finished before summer.

Fall is when nobody is tan. Frankie booked in October. Pale has always been her thing.

Laser hair removal is part of our fall specials through Saturday, October 31, with savings on large, XL and full body areas.

"Oh look! Your emotional support is here."

Layla says it with a smile. Then the list gets a little longer, the doorway gets a little quieter, and suddenly she's offering everybody coffee.

Money is part of this, and Layla will be the first to say so. Treatments add up, and that conversation is supposed to happen at home. Every so often it happens in a treatment room instead, with Layla standing right in the middle of it.

To be clear, this isn't aimed at anyone who came along for someone. Emotional support is welcome here, and so is the person who just drove. It isn't aimed at the patient either. Wanting more than one thing is normal.

Have you ever been somebody's emotional support? Tell us how it went.

If you'd rather have the money talk somewhere other than in front of Layla, start with a consultation. It's free, you can take the plan home and talk it over, and nobody gets talked into anything. Call or text 612-770-0000.

A unit is not an appointment, and that is the whole thing nobody explains.

Tox is sold by the unit. A unit is a measured amount of product, not a visit and not an area. So the number you see quoted anywhere is the price of one unit, and your total depends on how many units your face actually needs. That is why two people can pay the same price and walk out with different totals, and it is why every med spa tells you to call for pricing instead of putting a number on a website. The price is public. The amount is personal.

Here is the part that actually matters if you are not ready yet.

Because you are buying product and not an appointment, what you buy does not sit on a calendar. There is no limit on how much you can buy. It does not expire. You can transfer it to another patient. All sales are final. You do not need a plan, or a date, or a reason.

Our fall tox special covers every neurotoxin we carry except Daxxify, which is not included. It runs October 1 to 15, 2026 and closes Thursday, October 15. It is our lowest tox price of the year.

That window is shorter than the rest of the fall specials, and there is a real reason for it. Layla tells patients to give tox two weeks before they judge it. Halloween is Saturday, October 31. Get treated by October 15 and it has settled with time to spare. That is the only reason this one ends early.

Everything else in the fall sale runs through October 31.

The price closes October 15. The units do not.

Monday we told you why. Here is what is actually on sale.

Layla put the whole fall list on sale at once, and it runs through October 31.

Alma Opus, face and neck, at our deepest discount of the season. Book the face and neck and the chest and décolleté come with it at no charge.

Pico Laser, face and neck, discounted the same way, with the chest and décolleté included.

VI Peel, discounted on Original, Advanced and Body. If you saw the September offer and missed it, it is still on.

Laser hair removal, discounted on large, XL and full body areas. Worth knowing before you book: it is a minimum of six sessions, four weeks apart, and a tan can push an appointment back. Fall is when you are not tan, which is the whole reason to start now instead of in May.

And for the first two weeks of October, October 1 through 15 only, every neurotoxin we carry except Daxxify is at our lowest price of the year. You can buy it now and bank it if you are not ready to use it. It never expires, and you can transfer it to someone else.

One honest note about timing. The sale ends on the 31st, but Layla's rule is a month minimum before you want to look your best. Thanksgiving is November 26. That makes October 26 the date that actually matters, and it is five days before the sale ends.

For pricing, call or text 612-770-0000.

Layla explains this to patients in the room, and it is the best explanation of resurfacing anyone has given us.

Our skin is leather. A leather sofa, when it's new, is nice and shiny and tight. Everything looks good. Then you start sitting in it. Every time you sit, there's a little crease in the leather. The first year, a little creasing is fine.

Then the years go by, and here is the part that matters. Even when no one is sitting in that chair, you still see the creases. People call that patina. Worn in.

Our skin is that way too. We spent the summer wearing it out, and now the lines are there whether we're making an expression or not.

Which is why people ask her the wrong question. Why resurface, when you could just do Botox or filler? Because people think those cover everything. The creases in an empty chair aren't waiting on an injection. That is the leather itself, and it's a different job.

So how do you resurface a leather chair? You buff the top layer off with a strong chemical, then you put deep moisture back in and rehydrate the leather. Your face is the exact same thing. That is what all the aftercare cream is doing.

And then the part we'd rather you hear from us than find out later. Will it be brand new? Will you ever have 16 year old skin again? No. You're never going to have that again. The chair will never be brand new again. But it will look less worn, and more refreshed. Newer, nicer.

One thing worth knowing, since fall is when everybody looks in the mirror and adds up the summer. Sunscreen only works if you reapply it every two hours, and most of us put it on once at 8am and call it done. And past SPF 30 the difference is tiny, 98 to 98.5 to 99 percent. An SPF 30 you reapply beats an SPF 100 you don't.

This is also why our fall specials run on resurfacing, now through October 31. Do your face and neck and the chest comes with it, which matters more than people think. Most of us stop at the jawline and let the neck tell on us anyway.

Eight seconds of a woman who has been filming herself all week.

Layla runs the treatments, the consults, the follow-up texts, and somehow also our social media. There is no marketing team in the back room. It's her, her phone, and whatever gap she has between patients.

So yes. She is tired of making content.

And no, this one is not aimed at you. The videos were never a guilt trip, they're a front door. Most people who end up in that chair watched for a while first, because they wanted to see what a treatment actually looks like and who was going to be holding the needle, long before they were ready to say anything to us.

That part worked. You're here.

The next part is easier than the videos, we promise. Consultations are free, nobody gets talked into anything, and you get to ask every question you've been sitting on.

Call or text 612-770-0000. Then she can lie back down.

Your turn. What's the one part of your job you would hand off tomorrow if you could?
