Some people pay $50,000 and up to own a hard-shell hyperbaric chamber like ours. Here's why, and how to try one for $59.
Inside our chamber, the pressure rises to 1.5 times normal air pressure and the air is oxygen-enriched, so every breath carries about 70% more oxygen than normal air. You lie back for 60 minutes while your phone stays outside.
In a small Japanese study at similar mild settings, healthy adults had higher blood oxygen saturation, a lower heart rate, and more activity in the body's "rest and digest" calm mode during the session. It was a small, short-term study, not proof of lasting health effects.
Your first 60-minute session is $59. After that, sessions are $129, or go daily with Hyperbaric Daily for $499 a month (2-month minimum).
