Years ago, the Rush family started a small country store nestled in the North Georgia Mountains in the old railway town of Blue Ridge. The Amish are known for bringing old-world craftsmanship to today’s modern society. ⭐️WHAT IS A2/A2 MILK?
A2/A2 milk comes from cows that naturally produce only the A2 type of beta-casein protein, rather than a mixture of A1 and A2 proteins.
Some people prefer A2/A2 milk because they find it easier to digest, although research is still developing and it isn't suitable for people with a milk allergy.
Raw means the milk has not been pasteurized.

Fall is here, and there are plenty of reasons to stop by A Taste of Amish & General Store this Saturday!

Cooler days call for a warm bowl of soup! Come browse our selection of soup mixes and grab a few to keep in the pantry for those easy fall suppers.

⭐️NEW PRODUCT — SCRAPPLE!
Never tried it? Scrapple is a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch food made from seasoned pork combined with grains such as cornmeal and often buckwheat, formed into a loaf. The traditional way to enjoy it is to slice it and pan-fry it until crispy and golden on the outside. It’s especially popular as a breakfast meat alongside eggs and toast.
If you grew up eating scrapple, you know! And if you've never tried it, now might be the time.
