Organizations can't manage what they can't see, and is one of the hardest systems to see. Most of it sits underground, out of sight, until a broken line or a bad schedule shows up as a water bill.

changes that. By pairing advanced two-wire with on-site sensor data, it gives water managers and technicians clear visibility into what's actually happening at the site, not just what a schedule assumes is happening. That visibility is what turns reactive fixes into confident decisions.

starts with seeing the full picture.

Irrigation designers and specifiers: are you designing a controller installation, or a water management system that keeps improving for the next decade?

On Thursday, October 8 at 9 AM PT, HydroPoint’s Chris Wright, VP of Channel Sales, and Bob Beers, Director of Product Management, join the American Society of Irrigation Consultants for Applied Intelligence for Water Management: From controllers to connected systems built for the next decade.

They’ll cover:
• How Applied Intelligence combines evapotranspiration data, flow sensing, AI predictions, and automated control to deliver measurable outcomes

• Specifying for adaptability: connectivity, observability, interoperability, governance, and lifecycle

• A five-question specification stress test to apply to your next project

For many organizations, water still sits in the “estimate and hope” category (especially when it comes to outdoor water use). Smart controllers, flow sensors, and real-time analytics change that.

When you monitor water like any other critical asset, you can:

Spot anomalies before they become emergencies

Benchmark performance across sites

Tie water decisions to risk and ESG outcomes

Water data is no longer a nice-to-have. It’s the foundation of modern water stewardship.

Congratulations to two outstanding teams honored at the 2026 ASIC Excellence in Irrigation Awards.

Las Flores, California earned an Honor Award in the Recycled Water Irrigation Conversion category. The project converted an existing potable to recycled water across 1,648 homes and roughly 53 acres of common-area landscape overcoming significant elevation and pressure challenges through hydraulic analysis, system redesign, and new to deliver an estimated 65 million gallons of water annually. Congratulations to Steve Hohl of Water Concern, Ltd. and Danny Smith on this well-earned recognition.

West Resthaven Cemetery Park in Glendale, Arizona took home a Merit Award for Existing System Evaluation. Facing aging infrastructure and the challenge of maintaining uninterrupted operations in an active cemetery, the team transformed a largely manual, deteriorating system into a modern, network improving water-use efficiency and long-term sustainability while preserving the site's cultural significance. Congratulations to Andrew Chase of The Davey Institute for this achievement.

Both projects are a great reminder of what's possible when smart planning, hydraulic expertise, and a commitment to water efficiency come together. Congratulations to all of this year's ASIC award winners!
