When your appetite goes down, it can become harder to get the nutrients your body needs.
That doesn’t mean everyone taking a GLP-1 will develop a deficiency. It means your nutrition deserves attention alongside your weight.
Start by looking at what you’re eating, and talk with your healthcare provider about whether testing makes sense for you.
You don’t need a shelf full of supplements. You need a plan that fits your needs.
Are you getting nutrition guidance as part of your GLP-1 treatment?
For personalized GLP-1 nutrition support, contact my office through the link on my profile.
Save this for your next appointment and share it with someone taking a GLP-1.

Arsenic in Halloween candy? Before you panic, here's what matters. Trace amounts of arsenic can occur in foods, including some candy ingredients, but detecting arsenic doesn't automatically mean a product is dangerous. The type, amount, and frequency of exposure all matter. As a clinical nutritionist, I'm more concerned about what children consume regularly than one night of trick-or-treating. Awareness matters. Fear doesn't help. Did you know arsenic could be present in everyday foods? Share this with a parent who should know.

Before you buy another probiotic, check your plate.
Probiotics can be helpful, but your gut bacteria also need nourishment. Fiber-rich foods such as beans, oats, berries, and vegetables help support a healthy gut microbiome.
Fermented foods like yogurt with live cultures, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi can also be useful additions.
Not every probiotic works for every person or every digestive concern. The specific strains matter.
Are you focusing more on probiotics or fiber?

A professional-looking peptide website can leave out the details that matter most.
Do you know where the product came from, who’s overseeing your care, and whether a prescription product was dispensed by a licensed pharmacy?
A lab report alone can’t guarantee what’s in a vial is safe.
There’s also one phrase on some peptide websites that should get your attention: “For Research Use Only.”
Have you seen that label when researching peptides online?
Follow for Part 3, where I’ll explain what it means. Share this with someone who’s considering peptides.

Six peptides have been recommended for the FDA’s 503A compounding list—but what does that actually mean?
An FDA advisory committee voted to recommend BPC-157, TB-500, MOTS-C, Epitalon, Semax, and KPV for the list. The FDA still has to make the final decision.
A committee recommendation doesn’t mean FDA drug approval or automatically change compounding rules.
The details matter, especially when it comes to patient access and pharmacy requirements.
Which of these peptides would you like me to cover next?

Knee pain after 40? Don't just blame age. 👇
In 40+ years of clinical nutrition and chiropractic work, I've seen plenty of people told "it's just getting older" when there's more to the story: how you move, what you eat, and what your body is missing.
So let's start with you:
📍 Where does it hurt?
📍 What have you already tried?
Drop your answer in the comments. I read every one, and the most common ones become my next videos.

One difficult day doesn’t erase the effort you’ve already put in.
Maybe you can relate: one meal goes off plan, and suddenly you’re thinking, “I’ll start again Monday.”
You don’t have to wait.
Your next meal, your next walk, your next manageable choice—that’s where you can begin again.
You don’t need a perfect streak. You need a plan you can return to.
Save this for a frustrating day, and share it with someone who needs encouragement.
What helps you get back on track when your routine gets interrupted?

Before you buy another supplement, ask these 3 questions.

1. What specific goal am I trying to address?
2. What evidence supports using this supplement for that goal?
3. Have I reviewed it with someone who knows my medications, health history, and everything else I’m taking?
After 40 years in nutrition, my approach is simple: every recommendation should have a reason.
You don’t need to buy something just because it’s trending. Start with better questions.
What’s one supplement you’ve been curious about?
Save this for your next supplement purchase and share it with someone whose cabinet keeps growing.

Think creatine is just for bodybuilders? That’s where the conversation usually stops—and where this carousel starts.
Before adding another supplement, understand what it can realistically offer, what to look for, and whether it fits your goals.
I put together a free creatine guide to help you make an informed decision.
Comment CREATINE below and I’ll send you a DM with the steps to get it.
What would you most like to know about creatine—benefits, dosing, or safety?
Save this carousel and share it with someone who still thinks creatine is only for the gym.
