If you know exactly what you should do, have discipline, but things aren’t working…
If you get overwhelmed and to cope you keep reaching for the quick hit instead… this isn’t a willpower problem.
You’re the brilliant woman with the plan already mapped out. But in the moments that matter most, when you least want to do the thing, you find yourself reaching for something that feels good right now instead.
⚡️One more scroll, one more episode, one more snack
⚡️Checking your phone for a text, a like, a bit of attention
⚡️Telling yourself you’ll start right after this
⚡️And then the guilt and shame roll in once it’s over
Here’s the truth, honey… those quick hits aren’t a character flaw. They’re your nervous system looking for relief from something that feels too heavy to sit with. Especially for neurodivergent women, the brain is wired to seek stimulation and comfort fast, so trying to shame yourself into “better discipline” only deepens the cycle.
Delayed gratification doesn’t come from forcing yourself harder. It comes from helping your body feel safe enough to stay with discomfort long enough to choose what you really want.
That’s what we work on inside POWER, my 1:1 coaching program. We pair the plans and systems you already have with nervous system regulation, mindfulness, herbalism, and somatic tools that fit how your brain actually works, so you can follow through without the shame spiral.
f you don’t want to spend the next 6 months stuck in the same loop of quick relief and guilt afterward, comment or DM me “POWER” and I’ll send you the link to apply. ⚡️
