Many of us were given a very narrow definition of grief, one that’s limited to the pain that accompanies loss of life. But what do we miss when we deny ourselves the opportunity to grieve so many other areas of life that are worth tending to?
In the latest episode of the Sun & Moon Sober Living Podcast, Natalia shares how her experience with cancer, trauma healing and embodied nature connection offered her an expanded understanding on grief.
In this powerful & honest conversation, she touches on:
Surviving cancer
Overworking & burnout
Recovering from addiction
Deciding “not yet”
Finding spiritual connection
Ecosomatics
Recovering childlike wonder
The many types of grief
Writing & poetry
Natalia Violette is a cancer survivor, writer & emerging ecosomatic practitioner. After a devastating Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis in 2019 at twenty-eight, she left behind a former life in corporate leadership to follow a path rooted in creativity and healing.
