There’s no place like home — for training first responders. 🚑
St. Vincent’s Medical Center has created a simulation space designed to bring real-world EMS training to life. EMT and paramedic students can practice hands-on in lifelike bedroom and bathroom settings — the same environments where EMS providers most often encounter patients during 911 calls.

Registration is now open for the Paramedic Education Program, scheduled to begin in January 2027. https://stvincents.org/services/emergency-services/pre-hospital-ems/emergency-medical-services-education/paramedic-program

A safer ride starts with a helmet 🚲

As e-bike use continues to grow, helmet use and safe riding habits are more important than ever. That's why St. Vincent's Medical Center is hosting a free helmet giveaway this Saturday, October 10, from 2-4pm, in partnership with the City of Bridgeport, CT - Government.

Whether you're commuting, exercising or riding for fun, protecting your head can help reduce your risk of serious injury. At least 150 free helmets will be available while supplies last, thanks to the generosity of a donor through the St. Vincent's Philanthropy Department.

Stop by St. Vincent's Medical Center to pick up a free helmet and learn more about staying safe on the road.
