For me, Breast Cancer Awareness Month isn't about the pink. Its about making sure none of my patients fall through the cracks.

Most people I know don't know these numbers by heart and it's not their fault. Nobody took the time to explain it to them.

1️⃣ A1c is your average blood sugar over the last 3 months and lets us know your risk for diabetes
2️⃣ LDL is the bad cholesterol that will drive our decisions
3️⃣ Blood pressure (also known as the silent killer) can be measured at home

These numbers are important but how its changing year to year matters more.

Remembering back to my corporate healthcare days where I saw 25+ patients and stayed late taking care of chart messages, refills, prior auths, lab reviews, forms, and notes.

It was vwry stressful but this is what happens when healthcare is built around volume instead of people.

Direct Primary Care gives us the flexibility to slow down, spend more time with patients, and actually practice primary care the way it was meant to be practiced.

Less assembly line.
More relationship.
Less rushed.
More room to care.

Because patients deserve better, and honestly… so do providers.
