Fair week is almost here, Brooklet! 🎡

The Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair kicks off Monday, Oct. 19, with the parade in downtown Statesboro at 5 p.m., and the fairgrounds stay open through Saturday, Oct. 24.

A few hometown pharmacist tips before you head out:
✅ Bring more water than you think you'll need. October evenings around here can still be warm.
✅ Keep inhalers, insulin, and epinephrine auto-injectors with you, not in a hot car.
✅ Wash your hands after the petting zoo and before that funnel cake.
✅ Set a phone reminder for evening doses so a late night on the midway doesn't throw off your routine.
✅ Running low on anything? Call or stop by before fair week so you're all set.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, military members, and everyday heroes who stepped forward when our country needed them most.

We remember the families who lost loved ones, the heroes who gave everything, and the strength and unity that followed.

Three years ago, I officially became a pharmacist, and I honestly can’t believe how quickly the time has flown! 🥹🩵

Being a pharmacist has been so much more than just filling prescriptions. It has given me the opportunity to serve my community, build relationships with my patients, learn something new every day, and make a difference in people’s lives in ways big and small.

I’m so thankful for every patient who has trusted me, every coworker who has supported me, and every lesson these past three years have taught me.

Here’s to 3 years of being a pharmacist and many more to come! 🥂💊
