Every second, we’re doing something crucial to life: breathing. Most of the time, we do it on autopilot without even realizing it. But when we bring awareness to our breath, every inhale and exhale becomes a blessing. 🌬️

Each inhale allows the environment to nurture us, and with each exhale, we nurture the world around us. Breath is a constant flow of generosity and gratitude. 💞

🌱 Practice:
Ask yourself: What would I like more of in my life today?
Now, restate your answer in just two words. For example:
✨ Self-love & Peace
✨ Wisdom & Creativity
✨ Abundance & Faith

Use these words as a mantra as you breathe consciously—say the first word on your inhale and the second on your exhale. With awareness, notice how your body and spirit shift with conscious breathing.

There’s something about this time of year that naturally invites us to slow down.

✨ This is why I do this work. ✨

One of the greatest gifts of Reiki with Kaila is getting to witness what unfolds when someone gives themselves permission to slow down, breathe, and simply be.

I’m so grateful every time a client shares with me what they experienced in session. I’m overjoyed for them when they receive a moment of clarity, experience a vision, process an emotion, release a thought, or connect with something within themselves that they needed to see.

And sometimes… there isn’t a vision at all.

Sometimes the greatest gift is simply peace.

Deep relaxation.
A quiet mind.
A softened body.
A feeling of finally being able to exhale.

Every session is different because every person is different.

I don’t believe Reiki needs to look or feel a certain way. I create the space, hold the intention, and allow the experience to unfold naturally.

And what continues to amaze me is how often my clients’ intentions find their way to the surface—sometimes through thoughts, sometimes through emotions, sometimes through imagery, and sometimes simply through a profound sense of peace.

I get to witness it all in real time.
And honestly, I feel incredibly grateful to be trusted with that space. 🤍

Sharing this work with my community, my friends, my followers, and the people who feel called to it is more than a business to me.

It’s my passion.

I recently had a Reiki session with a dear friend who is battling cancer and who has also recently accepted Jesus into her heart and begun her journey into the Christian faith.

I was especially excited for this session because I wanted to create a space that honored her beliefs, her faith, and her personal journey.

I know there are people who struggle to understand where energy work fits within Christianity. I understand that. And I’m not here to tell anyone what they should believe.

But I do want to share what happened in this particular session.

When she came out of her meditation and Reiki experience, she shared the visions and sensations she experienced. She described seeing herself laying in God’s lap, feeling Him beside her and holding her hand. She felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. She saw visions of her children, family, and friends surrounding her.

And as she shared these things with me, I could feel the sacredness of the experience. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, too.

This is why I believe these sessions are so deeply personal.

I am not here to tell you what you should experience. I am not here to replace your faith, your relationship with God, or whatever spiritual path you walk.

I am simply a vessel.

I create the space. I guide you inward. I hold space for you to become still enough to listen—to your heart, your spirit, your intuition, and whatever you believe is guiding you.

For one person, that may look like God.

For another, it may look completely different.

And that’s okay.

Your experience belongs to you.

My work is not about telling you what to believe. It’s about creating a safe, intentional space where you can connect with what is already within you—and where your own faith and spirituality can be honored, not dismissed.

Sometimes healing begins with simply becoming still enough to feel what has been there all along. 🤍
