Our team was honored to attend a fundraiser hosted by the Larry Mariott Foundation benefiting BCS Fights Cancer. Both organizations are doing meaningful work to support cancer patients and families throughout the Brazos Valley, helping ease some of the financial burdens that can come with a cancer diagnosis.

The evening was made even more meaningful by two incredible patients who bravely shared their stories. Their words, their strength, and their journeys moved everyone in the room — there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

It was a beautiful reminder that cancer care extends far beyond the walls of a treatment room. We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up, give generously, and rally around those facing cancer.

Eating during cancer treatment doesn’t always look the same from day to day — and that’s okay. 💙

Some days you may have an appetite, and other days, even a small snack can feel like a lot. The goal isn’t to eat perfectly. It’s to give your body the fuel, protein, and fluids it needs to keep going.

A few simple reminders:
🥗 Protein when you can
💧 Keep drinking fluids
🍎 Small meals and snacks count
💙 Be flexible and listen to your body

And if treatment side effects are making it hard to eat or drink, let your care team know. There are ways we can help.

Nutrition is part of your care, too. We’re here to help you through all of it. 💙

Today, we’re celebrating Kacie Gonzales, PA-C, and the important role she plays in caring for our patients at Brazos Valley Cancer Center.

From helping patients navigate their cancer journey to answering questions and providing support along the way, Kacie is an important part of our care team. We’re grateful for the knowledge, compassion, and dedication she brings to our patients and our practice each day.

What a special day at the annual Surviving and Thriving, hosted by Pink Alliance luncheon! Members of our team were honored to attend this meaningful event, which raises support for breast cancer patients throughout the Brazos Valley.

One of the highlights for us was seeing a whole crowd of our own patients and survivors there. Seeing so many familiar faces gathered together to celebrate, connect, and support one another made the day even more special.

We’re grateful for organizations like Pink Alliance Brazos Valley and the difference they continue to make for breast cancer patients and families right here in our community. 💗

Breast cancer awareness month has begun. We’re so proud of our patient for sharing her breast cancer journey and using her experience to encourage other women to prioritize their breast health.

It’s an honor to walk alongside our patients through every step of their cancer journey. 💗

A few years ago, Pam and Matt took on a triathlon together, including an incredible 40-mile bike ride! 🚴‍♀️💙 Today, biking is still something they enjoy doing—and a great reminder that staying active can be something you genuinely love.

Whether it’s a bike ride, a walk, a workout, or simply finding more ways to move throughout your day, every bit of movement matters.
