The Health Department is hosting a FREE Walk-In Vaccination Clinic every Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM (extended hours tomorrow) at the Health Department, located at 204 Flanders-Drakestown Rd, Budd Lake, NJ 07828. Vaccines are free regardless of insurance status. Vaccinations are a simple way to reduce your risk of getting sick and spreading illness to others.

Vaccines Provided:

-Adult: Influenza, Pneumonia (Prevnar 20), RSV, Shingles Zoster, Hepatitis B, MMR, and Tdap

-Pediatric: MMR, Influenza, Polio (IPV), Tdap, MCV4 (Meningitis), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, and HPV

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're reminding our community that routine breast cancer screening is an important part of preventive healthcare.

đź’— Why are mammograms important?

Early detection saves lives! Mammograms can detect breast cancer before symptoms appear, when treatment is often more successful.

Screening starts at 40! The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends mammograms every two years for women ages 40–74 at average risk.

Stay on schedule! Regular screenings help detect changes that may develop over time.

Know your risk! Your family history and other risk factors may mean you need to begin screening earlier or follow a different schedule.
