It’s Dr. Matlyn’s first day at Taproot! 🎉🩵

She’s officially here and starting training while we wait for her Texas license to come through. She’s already licensed in both Kansas and Montana, so for now we’re getting her fully up to speed on the Taproot way of doing things.

As soon as that Texas license is official, she’ll be jumping in and seeing patients. We’re so excited to have her here and can’t wait for y’all to get to know her!

There are plenty of things we pay attention to during your visit.

These are NOT some of them. 😂🩵

You do not need to clean up before you come in, apologize for your kids, worry about what you’re wearing, or wonder if you’ve told us too much.

Ask all the questions. Bring the kids. Come straight from the gym. Forget the diaper bag. Tell us what’s actually going on.

We want you to feel comfortable here and know that you can just show up as you are.

That’s kind of the whole point. 🩵

Our new sale shelf is officially stocked, and everything on it is 20% off. 🩵

We’re slowly moving more of our supplement inventory over to Fullscript, which so many of our patients already love, so we’re clearing out a few of the products we’ve traditionally kept in the clinic.

Right now you’ll find things like:

Natural cold support for kids
Some of our favorite kids’ multivitamins
Fish oil
Prenatal vitamins
Castor oil packs and castor oil

These products will still be available online through Fullscript, but once our in-office inventory is gone, we won’t be restocking them in the clinic.

ICYMI… Taproot was named a 2026 Best of Bulverde/Spring Branch finalist and took 2nd place! 🩵

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to vote for us.

Coming up on 10 years in Bulverde, it means a lot to know that the care, training, and patient experience we work so hard on are being noticed by the community.

We’ve landed in 2nd place the last two years, so naturally… now we have a goal for next year. 😉

Taproot’s Employee of the Month is Audie! 🎉🩵

Audie has been such a positive addition to the office this summer. She’s always upbeat, in a great mood, and ready to help. She’s great with laser, EMS, rehab, and is picking up charting quickly.

For those who don’t know, Audie is Dr. Angie’s daughter. She’s 17 now, but she has been around Taproot since the very beginning. When the practice opened almost 10 years ago, she was just a little kid showing up to ribbon cuttings, office parties, and events.

Some of our longtime patients may even remember her helping clean tables during the COVID shutdowns when she was 11.

Patients have really enjoyed seeing her in the office this summer, especially those who have literally watched her grow up around Taproot.

Last weekend was our annual Taproot River Party, and we had such a great time! ☀️🌊🩵

It was a chance to relax, spend time together outside the office, enjoy the river, and celebrate the team that makes Taproot what it is.

Unfortunately, Dr. Hannah wasn’t able to make it at the last minute, and she was definitely missed.

We’re so grateful for this group and for the time we get to spend together, both in and out of the office.

Our Employee of the Month is Danielle! 🎉🩵

Danielle is our lead CA and plays a huge role in keeping the office running smoothly. She helps patients feel welcome, keeps therapies moving, trains new team members, and steps in wherever she is needed.

She brings so much care, consistency, and positive energy to Taproot, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she does.

Today we’re celebrating Dr. Hannah’s 2-year Taproot anniversary! 🩵

Two years ago, Dr. Hannah joined the Taproot team, and we honestly can’t imagine the practice without her.

If you’ve met Dr. Hannah, you know how much she genuinely cares about her patients. She loves a challenging case, enjoys collaborating with the other doctors, and is always looking for the best way to help someone feel better.

These days, her schedule stays about 99% full—and for good reason.

Outside the office, she recently celebrated buying her very first home (with her beloved cats, of course!), and we’re so excited for this new chapter in her life.

Dr. Hannah, thank you for the compassion, knowledge, and positivity you bring to Taproot every single day. We’re lucky to have you.
