Occupational Hazard ⚠️

We really can’t help ourselves. 😎 Give us one handshake and suddenly we’re checking motion, tension, and wondering what your nervous system has been up to 👀🤝

Chiro brain is always on.

If you keep hearing “they’ll grow out of it” but your gut says there’s more going on, it may be time to look at the nervous system.

Chiropractic care is about more than chasing symptoms.

Your nervous system helps coordinate movement, muscle tone, balance, body awareness, and how your body responds to stress.

For babies, kids, and pregnant moms, we look at how the body is moving and adapting, then use gentle chiropractic care to support better function through each stage.

So whether it’s “they’ll grow out of it,” another 2am Google search, or pregnancy discomfort…

Sometimes it’s worth looking at the nervous system, too.

Curious what nervous system focused care could look like for you or your little one? Send us a message or book an evaluation.

There’s just something extra special about hearing “so-and-so told me I needed to come see you.” 🥹

So grateful for every mama who trusts me with her family and then turns around and sends another mama my way. 🤍

Helping moms and babies feel more comfortable, connected, and supported through pregnancy, postpartum, and all those early baby days will never get old.

Your referrals mean more to this little practice than you know. 🌊🤍

“Why is my baby so fussy?”
“Why are they always so tense?”
“Why are they arching after feeds?”
“Is this much gas normal?”
“Could it be reflux?”
“Why won’t they just settle?”

If you’ve Googled every version of these questions at 2am, you’re probably exhausted and just want to know how to help your baby. 🤍

Your baby’s nervous system is involved in so much of what their little body is learning to do. Feeding, digestion, movement, sleep and settling all rely on communication between the brain and body. The vagus nerve is a big part of that communication, especially when it comes to rest and digestion.

When I assess a baby, I’m looking at their birth history, how they move, where they’re holding tension and how their nervous system is functioning.

Gentle, baby specific chiropractic care can support that brain body connection and give their developing nervous system the best opportunity to adapt and function well.

You’ve done enough 2am Googling. Let’s take a closer look at what your baby may be telling you. 🌊 📍 Palm Coast + St. Augustine

You don’t need an anatomy degree to come see us. Understanding the anatomy is our job. Supporting your body and nervous system is what we’re here for.

Your job? Give your body the time, support, and space it needs to do what it was designed to do: heal.

And yes, these are all real life examples of what we’ve heard 😆

Moments like this are exactly why I love this work.

Even a smooth birth puts real pressure through a baby’s tiny neck and jaw. That tension likes to settle right around the upper neck, right where the nerves controlling tongue movement (hypoglossal) and jaw opening (trigeminal) live. So when latch feels like a struggle, it’s not always a technique problem, sometimes it’s a body that needs a little help moving the way it’s meant to.

That same area plays into the vagus nerve too, the one in charge of helping a baby shift out of “alert” mode and into “calm and resting.” A gentle adjustment gives that whole system a little more room to settle, and better sleep tends to follow close behind.

I’ll never promise a miracle, and this isn’t a replacement for the lactation support you might already have in place. It’s just one more piece that can make a real difference when a baby’s body is holding onto tension from birth.

If sleep or feeding has been a struggle with your little one, I’d love to meet them. 📍 Serving St. Augustine & Palm Coast, FL.

Peyton was 2 months old when her mom brought her in. She was struggling to feed, holding a lot of tension from birth, and at her worst stretch, she went nine days without a dirty diaper.

“My 2 month old baby hadn’t pooped in NINE days. Pediatricians kept telling me it was normal, but I knew my baby was uncomfortable. After meeting Dr. Anna, Peyton pooped just hours later. We were so relieved!”
Peyton’s mom

Peyton had a lot of tension through her neck and upper spine from birth, right where the vagus nerve runs. That nerve helps drive digestion. When a baby’s nervous system is stuck in stress mode instead of rest and digest, feeding and elimination are often the first things to suffer. A few gentle, specific adjustments helped Peyton’s body come out of that stress response, and her digestion started moving on its own.

She’s 7 months old now. Happy, regular, and thriving.

If your baby’s belly doesn’t feel settled, or something just feels off and no one can tell you why, that instinct is worth listening to. We’d love to help you find out what’s going on.

Your body is always giving you information. The question is: are we listening? 👀

“This may be TMI, but…”
“I’ve just learned to live with it.”
“It’s because I’ve gained weight.”
“I’m just getting old.”
“It’s probably not related, but…”

These are some of the MOST important things you can tell me.

Because the symptom you almost didn’t mention may be part of a much bigger picture of how your body and nervous system are adapting.

So yes, tell me the weird thing. Tell me the thing you think is unrelated. Tell me the whole story.

I want to know. 🧡

Nervous system care starts with looking at the whole person, not just the reason you booked the appointment.
