💡Hey...how about non-alcoholic? 😁 Isn't that what cocktails w/out alcohol actually are? It's pretty simple when you don't overthink it.
There's a lot of debate here, some of which is understandalbe (I personally do not care for the term "mocktail" for the same reasons covered in this article). However, as an industry, bars and restaurants MUST come together to acknowledge that drinks served without alcohol are NON-ALCOHOLIC. Why complicate things for the consumer? The term non-alcoholic is already clearly listed on just about every NA wine, beer and spirit bottle & can.
ALL menus should include a NON-ALCOHOLIC section with adult-palate options. Bartenders can then get fancy AF with drink names and contents (like zero-proof, mocktail, booze-free, AF, botanical, no/lo ABV, alc-free or whatever) in their craft cocktail descriptions because...they are all valid sub-categories of the term NON-ALCOHOLIC.
FACT: Most people will understand what NON-ALCOHOLIC cocktails, beverages or drinks implies on a menu.😎

We had a little tasting party with both Amethyst flavors...and, oh my! Score! Totally jazzed with these botanical NA spirits, especially the blueberry ginger mint because I have a "thing" for all three flavor components! 😋 The lemon cucumber serrano is fantastic and refreshing, too!
Simply put, the bottles are clean (perfect for a gathering) and the taste is true to description. The whole deal for me with trying new NA products is FLAVOR...and these definitely bring it! Oh - and, bonus - they're low cal (under 15 per 1.5 oz)! I'll probably try a cocktail mix for fun, but these really taste delish as a stand alone sipper in a shot glass with an ice cube or splash of soda H20 to make it last longer! 😉
