Cutesy office visitor today- if it helps my clients connect, feel safer, be more vulnerable- I encourage them to bring their puppies, their children. Therapy is hard and emotionally taxing and we all need a little comfort in the uncomfortable ♥️

Therapists are often seen as the people who have it all figured out, but there’s so much more to the work in and out of the therapy space.

Therapists are people too, and understanding that makes the work more meaningful.

What would you add to the list?

Another family served, and another adoption journey gets to begin. 🤍

I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside families as they step into this unique adventure of parenthood. Adoption is a journey filled with hope, anticipation, unknowns, and so many meaningful moments and it is an honor to be there to support families along the way.

Here’s to new beginnings, growing families, and the beautiful journeys that bring them together. ✨

So grateful to do this work.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

Su***de prevention isn’t just about knowing what to say in a crisis. It’s about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to say, “I’m not okay,” and knowing someone will listen without judgment.

Sometimes prevention looks like checking in on a friend. Sometimes it means asking directly, “Are you thinking about su***de?” Sometimes it means helping someone find professional support when things feel too heavy to carry alone.

Talking about su***de does not put the idea in someone’s head. It can open the door to connection, support, and safety.

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to wait until things become unbearable to ask for help. Your pain deserves support, and you deserve to be here.

988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

This month, and every month, let’s make it a little easier to talk about the hard things.

Starting this new series where I share what I’m reading for my work, and if I recommend for my clients or anyone needing a starting point on their journey to self-exploration and discovery.

📖 what I just read: Strangers: A Memoir of Marriage

This book is for you if you’ve ever looked at your life and wondered, “Wait… when did I stop feeling like myself?”

It’s especially worth picking up if you’ve spent a lot of time trying to be the person your partner, family, or everyone around you needed you to be.

As a therapist, I loved how much this book made me think about identity, relationships, and the process of finding your way back to yourself.

You don’t have to be married or a woman to relate to it. If you’ve ever questioned what you want versus what you think you’re supposed to want, you might find something in this one.

✨ A little availability update! ✨

I’m working on showing up a bit more on social media—and making things a little prettier while I’m here, because apparently the algorithm appreciates a good aesthetic. ✨

I currently have a few openings for teen and adult therapy clients:

- Every other Tuesday — 60 minutes
- Every other Wednesday — 60 minutes
- Every other Thursday — 30 minutes

At this time, my caseload is full for younger children and couples.

Please feel free to reach out for additional information or to see whether we might be a good fit! ✨ (406) 732 8082
