AI is reshaping the future of cancer care. Patients and advocates must have a seat at the table from the start.

We recently welcomed more than 50 patients, advocates and leaders from across healthcare and technology to our Hopewell campus for BeOne’s Patient Advocacy Leadership Summit on AI in Cancer Care.

Together, we tackled some of the biggest questions surrounding AI in cancer care: How do we build trust? Protect access? Preserve human judgment? And how do ensure that patients and patient advocacy groups have a voice in how these technologies are developed and used?

One message came through clearly: Realizing AI's full potential will take collaboration, accountability and a shared commitment to keeping patients at the center.

This was just the beginning. The future of AI in cancer care is still being written, and we all have a role in shaping what comes next. Let’s build it together!

If you joined us at the summit, share the organization or patient community you represented in the comments.

🌅 CLL Horizons 2026 is here!

This Friday, the global CLL community gathers in Barcelona for three days of learning, connection and collaboration under this year’s theme: Strength in Science, Power in Community.

🔬We are excited to hear from clinicians, researchers and patient advocates as they share the latest breakthroughs in CLL, explore new questions in care and research, and discuss what these advances mean for people living with CLL.

But Horizons is about more than sessions.

It is about the conversations in between: reconnecting with old friends, welcoming new faces, exchanging experiences and uniting diverse perspectives.🧡

🤝Together, we’ll shape the future of CLL advocacy and care.

See you in Barcelona!

Scientific progress has transformed what’s possible for people living with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). But the healthcare system has failed to keep pace with science.

Too many patients still face gaps in biomarker testing, CLL expertise, care coordination, insurance coverage and more that stand between them and the latest advances in CLL care.

That’s why we partnered with Charles River Associates and the broader blood cancer community on a first-of-its-kind national assessment of the CLL care ecosystem: When Innovation Outpaces Access: Closing the Gap in CLL Care.

The report outlines five actions to help more patients receive the right treatment at the right time:

✅ Expand access to biomarker testing
✅ Improve access to scientifically accurate information
✅ Connect more patients to CLL expertise
✅ Reduce insurance barriers that delay or deny treatment
✅ Increase transparency and promote responsible AI in cancer care

Blood cancer care is evolving rapidly, creating new possibilities for patients and clinicians, and no two chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) journeys are the same.

For some people, what matters most is continuing to do the things they love. For others, it's about staying independent, spending time with family, or feeling reassured about what comes next.

Whatever matters most, every person's experience is unique.

That's why, in partnership with CLL Advocates Network, we're launching No Patient Like Me. Through patient stories and practical resources, the program aims to help ensure that individual needs, goals, and preferences remain part of the conversation in CLL care.
