Today is one of those days I’ll never forget. ❤️🇺🇸⚓️

Garrett graduated from Navy A School! 🎓💥

The amount of hard work, dedication, long hours, studying, and determination it took to get to this moment is something I couldn’t be more proud of. This isn’t an easy path, and he didn’t take the easy road. He challenged himself, pushed through the tough days, and kept going.

Watching him put on that uniform and earn his place in the United States Navy has been one of the proudest moments of my life. From the little boy I watched grow up to the Sailor he is today… I honestly don’t know where the time went. ❤️

Today, we celebrate YOU. Your accomplishments. Your perseverance. Your commitment. Your future.

From the sound to the ocean! Peaceful morning on the sound paddle boarding 5.4 miles. I came upon a pod of dolphins!! So I sat and listened to them coming up for air.

Then took care of the garden, then headed to the beach for a nap and more sunshine. The water felt so refreshing. I only wished Trace was off work to enjoy this day with me.

Some days are rough. Some days feel heavier than others, and you wonder when things will finally feel a little lighter.

But then the sun sets. 🌅

And for just a moment, everything slows down. The sky reminds you that even after the hardest days, there is still beauty. There is still hope. And tomorrow is another chance to begin again.

You don’t have to have everything figured out tonight. Just breathe. Let the day go. Tomorrow will come. ❤️

Even the roughest days end with a sunset. And sometimes, that’s all the reminder we need. 🌅✨

Boys and I spent the past weekend in Florida for a family reunion. On the way down, we stopped through Charleston to have dinner with Garrett (and take him some things).

It was so great to see him and see extended family at reunion. We also spent time with friends (family).

Went paddling this morning before I had to go back to sleep for night shift. I needed some vitamin “sea” and 🌞!! It was a calm morning on the water, hardly any boats. The sound was smooth so it was easy to get around. Ended up going 2.4 miles.
