There's something out there bigger than you, bigger than me.

Someone once said to me 'If you spend more time looking up, than down, you'll never lose your faith.'

{They were right}

I think we look down when walking to avoid tripping and falling. If we trusted that even if we did trip or fall, we'd still be ok, maybe we'd see the pathway ahead a little more clearly. ✨️

Let go and let God.

A simple yet powerful phrase. It keeps us looking up, not down, and keeping our faith in tact.

I've been pushed out of the nest quite a bit lately.

Sometimes soaring with ease and grace and sometimes plummeting down until I remember to open my wings just before crashing into the earth.

I hear so often, from both men and women in treatment, that loneliness is their top trigger in their downward spiral. The yearning for connection to the world is blocked by shame, guilt, and various self defeating thoughts. When these deeper feelings grab a hold, we isolate even more.

I don't have all the answers. Every post on here has some intention behind it ~ connection. Whether it's business marketing or just my own loneliness reaching out for something, it serves a purpose ~ to spread my wings and fly.

My IG isn't themed with colors or pictures. It's filled with raw and vulnerable moments that my voice matters and maybe someone else out there needs to hear that too.

Landing back in the nest this evening after being pushed out again to fly.

May you be free of suffering.
