🌱 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆

Life happens. We all have days when things don't go as planned.

The good news? You don't have to be perfect. You just have to take the next small step.

Today, choose one healthy habit that helps you feel your best.

💧 Drink a glass of water.
🚶 Take a short walk.
🥗 Add a fruit or vegetable to your next meal.
💚 Speak to yourself with kindness.

Small steps build momentum.

🌟 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗻'𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸

This week during our Strong for Life group coaching session, Carolyn shared a win she was excited about.

Carolyn has talked before about having all-or-nothing thinking. This week, she set a goal to walk for 10 minutes every day.

One day she wasn't feeling well and couldn't do her usual walk.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽, 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱.

She walked back and forth in her backyard for 10 minutes.

What I loved wasn't the walk itself. It was the shift in thinking.

Rather than seeing the day as a reason to quit, Carolyn found another way forward.

Sometimes progress doesn't require perfection. Sometimes it simply requires finding another way forward when life doesn't go according to plan.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿?

Health is about more than nutrition and exercise.

It's also about 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and doing things that make life 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹.

That's one of the reasons I love this 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 from Action for Happiness.

In my 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 program, we're focusing on creating healthy summer rhythms through hydration, movement, flexibility, and simple habits that help us feel our best all season long.

I hope you'll find a few ideas here that bring a little extra joy to your month.

Okay, the spring and early summer produce looked SO good this week that apparently I ordered enough for TWO boxes. 😄🍓

I’ve used a produce delivery service for years and honestly love it. I love opening the box each week to see all the colorful fruits and vegetables in season, and I love having healthy foods already in the house because it makes healthy choices feel easier and more realistic in everyday life.

This week I looked at Gary and announced:

The Tower of Power has arrived. 😄

And now there’s a bonus:
New customers can get $𝟭𝟱 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝘅 with my referral code.

A little win-win for both of us… and everybody eats more fruits and veggies. 😄🍓🥦

Recently, at the Snoqualmie Valley Health and Wellness Fair, I had so many conversations with people about staying strong, energized, and independent as they age.

One thing I hear often is:
People assume feeling weaker, stiffer, or more tired is just part of getting older.

While some aging changes are normal, many are influenced by the daily habits that support our strength, balance, mobility, energy, and health.

So I’d love to hear from you:

What’s one thing you want to stay strong enough to keep doing as you get older?

A. Traveling
B. Playing with grandkids
C. Gardening
D. Hiking or walking
E. Getting up and down off the floor easily
F. Keeping my independence
G. Other (tell me yours)

Most people try to improve everything at once… and struggle to stay consistent.

This month’s Active April reminder is simple:

It really comes down to three things:

⚡ More energy
💪 Staying strong and capable
❤️ Doing what you love

Instead, try a different approach. Choose one to start with.

Which one do you need more right now?

More energy
More strength and capability
More of what you love

We brought a little extra fun to class this week 🍀

St. Patrick’s Day themed workout… complete with Irish music, potato weights 🥔, and yes… an Irish jig competition 😄

We moved, we laughed, and had a lot of fun together

Huge congrats to for taking home the win 🏆

This is what staying active can look like…
feeling strong, capable, and actually enjoying the process 💪

I became certified in a few years ago, and it completely changed how I understand health.

All the pieces fit together.

We’re not stuck. We’re not broken.
We have more control over our health than we’ve been led to believe.

This work changed my life too.

I’ve maintained a 47-pound weight loss, and now it feels easier by eating plant-based.
Movement has been part of my life for years, and I love helping others feel stronger and more confident in their bodies.
I know how to calm my mind when stress hits.
I sleep better and understand what “normal” sleep really looks like.

I’ve also learned we’re not meant to do this alone.
Community matters.

In the groups I lead, I see people show up for each other on the good days and even more on the hard ones.

Now I get to help others do the same by supporting real change in how they eat, move, sleep, manage stress, and live their lives.

No more all-or-nothing thinking. No starting over every Monday.

Just real, sustainable ways to have the energy for your life, your travel, and your people for decades to come.

This is the work I get to do every day through Price Health Coaching.
