Thank you Barbara for encouraging me to share our intriguing session yesterday. Treasure has a few mysteries being discovered after arriving to his new home. A concern was raised about possible aggression when Treasure appeared ready to bite while doing groundwork. During session we learned that this behavior was a reaction to restriction in his neck and jaw. We were able to reproduce it and attend to it. It is always celebratory to discover what lies below a confusing behavior. A reminder that horse behavior always has a purpose and it is often compensation for soreness and/or restriction! Oh, and Barbara reminded me to tell you my phone number is 330.627.5411 as it is much easier to reach me by call or text rather than Messenger.

We have some important news... just had this Friday the 18th open up for a session if anyone wants it. And... don't even try to find the website. I have killed it and am swamped with great ideas but even more confusion about resurrecting it. More on that later. Friday anyone?

We hope this picture feels like a cool breeze. Cloud likes winter much more than summer and will tell you why if you have a carrot. Posting to say that while cold can limit out work due to humans this heat wave is a danger to our horses. I am rescheduling sessions while we have a declared heat emergency. Scheduling for the rest of the month will get tighter so if you have a competition coming up we need to time your horse's session so please get in touch sooner rather than later. I am off to enjoy a popsicle, hope you have one too!

These pictures popped up in my memories and reminded me to remind you how much I enjoy providing workshops. I delight in providing clinics and especially like to teach at a barns with humans and their horses so we can see the variety of responses horses offer us and how each owner can begin to understand their challenges. We are entering busy times, please consider a workshop for summer or fall and let's get scheduled. My audience (the horse) and supervisor (the cat) agree!

Our next Comprehensive Hoof Care Workshop is now scheduled! Consider joining us for an in-depth education experience focused on not just the mechanics of hoof trimming, but the theory of hoof care from a science-based, whole-horse perspective, in comfortable, welcoming surroundings. Space is limited, however, so act soon!

And if you can't join us in person, join our lectures via Zoom!

A toast to everyone who will be at Equine Affaire! Stop by the Masterson Method booth and do me a favor... Say hello and give Andrea a hug. She is a dear friend. She is the extrovert. I am the introvert. She is there. I am... working! 😎
