We had a great afternoon spent at Diamond Grove Adventures! Joy made a new little friend, Mary Kay got some love from her new friend, we got to go on a train ride, and the persimmon tree we saw? Forks! Thats means a mild, easy winter with warmer-than-usual temperatures and very little snow! We'll see what happens!

💕 **Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Oak Pointe of Carthage** 💕

A heartfelt thank-you to Ashley with the Breast Cancer Foundation for joining us today and sharing your story with our residents! 💗 Your willingness to share your journey and spread awareness is truly appreciated.

Breast cancer doesn't only affect women; men can be affected, too. That's why it's so important for **everyone to be aware, recognize the signs, and understand the importance of early detection.**

This October, we honor the survivors, remember those we've lost, stand beside those still fighting, and celebrate the strength and faith of everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. 🎀

Together, through awareness, education, faith, and support, we can make a difference. 💕

Today we are going all PINK everything!
🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This month, we’re sharing more than just pink ribbons—we’re sharing our stories of faith, hope, strength, and courage. 💗

Behind every story is a journey, a battle, a prayer, and a reminder that none of us has to walk this path alone. Whether you’re a survivor, currently fighting, supporting a loved one, or remembering someone dear to your heart, your story matters.

At Oak Pointe of Carthage, we believe in lifting one another up, finding strength in faith, and reminding each other that even in our hardest moments, there is hope to be found.

💗 Together, we stand in faith. Together, we share hope. Together, we are stronger.

After we hung up our bird seed pinecones, Miss Jane wanted to see which birds were coming to grab a snack. We saw a flock of about 6 sparrows until a crow scared them all off.
Im pretty sure there was a hawk flying overhead too when our sparrows were grabbing a bite to eat!

Our friends at Carthage Water and Electric invited the Carthage community to celebrate Public Power Week with free power plant tours and we joined in on the fun! We were all overwhelmed with every aspect of what it takes to keep our city running with our resources.

You all were so friendly, and our tour was really informative, we learned alot, and still can't wrap our heads around just how much time, energy, and the cost of running even just 1 engine let alone 12 to power the city. It truly takes each one of you. Now we know why you were voted
