I grew up eating deer, alligator, frog, squirrel.. and occasionally had elk shared with us when we lived in Texas.. but it wasn’t until moving to Wyoming that I tried buffalo, antelope, big horn sheep, or moose..

I’ve got a question for y’all, and I want EVERYBODY to chime in because.. I’m nosey like that. 🤣

It seems like back in the day, our grandparents and great-grandparents had a whole HOUSE FULL of babies! Some of them were raising 6, 8, 10, or even MORE children! Nowadays, folks look at you sideways for having more than two.

So let’s hear it, friends! 🗣️

I’ll go first!
If it were up to me, I’d have as many babies as the good Lord would bless us with! 🥹🤍 I’ve always thought there was something beautiful about a house full of little feet, laughter, family dinners, and a whole lotta love. BUT.. my husband seems to think there needs to be a LIMIT to this operation.

Don't be shy! I wanna hear those numbers! Are we talking only children, a couple of kiddos, or a whole brood of babies? DROP YOUR NUMBERS IN THE COMMENTS! Tag your Momma, Mamaw, or that friend who’s always talking about having another baby! 🫣🥰

307 FRIENDS! I know this is unexpected but I will be out of pocket for the rest of October and early November!

Those of you who’ve been here for a while know I’m usually over the moon to be headed to the Boot! This time is different. I won’t get too heavy on y’all, but if you would keep my family in your prayers, I’d sure appreciate it. If the Lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise.. I’ll be returning for the event at the Ford Wyoming Center on 11/13-11/14, so mark your calendars and make plans to WELCOME ME BACK with a bang! I’ll have ALL the sweet and savory long fermented favorites! I also plan to have the last “Sourdough Saturday” (3 hour natural leavening class) of the year in December! That date will be released soon but if you’d like a jump start and be added to the waitlist, comment “listed” below! Thank y’all so much for loving and supporting this little passion of mine! I will miss y’all!

I'm just a small-town gal, turning out sourdough in my home kitchen while raising my babies, homeschooling, and trying to be faithful with what the Lord has put in my hands..
