One of the reasons tarot has endured for hundreds of years is that it tells a story we all recognize.
The Fool begins the journey with openness and curiosity. Along the way come moments of joy and uncertainty, love and loss, courage and doubt. We make mistakes, learn difficult lessons, change direction, and discover strengths we didn't know we possessed.
The final card in the Major Arcana is The World. To me, it represents those moments when life seems to come into focus. Not because everything is perfect, but because we've integrated what we've lived through. There is a sense of completion, of wholeness, before the next chapter begins.
Perhaps that's why these cards continue to resonate across generations. They remind us that whatever season we're in, we're still moving, still learning, and still becoming.
Next: Why insight, by itself, isn't always enough.
