Blood pressure going up? Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen has another QRA™ technique for you—and this one comes with a funny reminder: “Your radius, NOT your anus!” 😂

Jimmy demonstrates a technique along the radius bone, located on the thumb side of your forearm, which he associates with the Kidney system in his wellness approach.

Here's how:

• Check your blood pressure before starting.
• Locate the radius bone on the thumb side of your forearm.
• Slowly explore along the bone, moving from your wrist toward your elbow.
• Find the most tender spots along the way.
• Apply firm, comfortable pressure and massage for 60 seconds.
• Check your blood pressure again afterward.
• If you don't notice a change, Jimmy suggests exploring another tender spot and repeating.

This technique is intended to complement your existing blood pressure care, not replace prescribed medications. Blood pressure readings can fluctuate, and changes after massage don't necessarily establish that the technique lowered your blood pressure.

Remember: Radius, NOT A**s! 😄

Waking up with stiff hips, a tight lower back, or a lower body that just doesn't want to move?

Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen has a fun exercise for you: The Fortnite Dance! 🎮

This simple movement helps get your hips, lower back, and lower body moving—with both beginner and advanced versions!

🟢 BEGINNER:

Stand with your knees together.

Gently move both knees from side to side.

Keep the movement controlled as your hips begin to loosen up.

Start in the same position with your knees together.

Move your knees to one side.

At the same time, rotate your upper body in the opposite direction.

Alternate sides in a smooth, rhythmic motion.

Experiencing burning, tingling, or nerve pain in your feet? Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen demonstrates a simple QRA™ technique he calls “Stroke Your L & S Chords!”

This technique focuses on foot discomfort Jimmy associates with irritation or compression of nerves in the lower back.

And here's the surprising part: You're working on your HANDS, not your feet!

Here's how:

1. L Chord – Index Finger Side

Locate your second metacarpal bone, the long bone leading to your index finger.

Explore along the bone for the most tender spots.

Apply firm, controlled pressure and massage for 60 seconds.

2. S Chord – Pinky Finger Side

Find your fifth metacarpal bone, the long bone leading to your pinky.

Slowly massage along the bone.

Focus on tender areas for 60 seconds.

3. Stand Up & Test

Stand up and walk around.

Notice whether the sensations in your feet have changed.

Jimmy recommends exploring multiple tender spots rather than focusing on just one exact point.

Two chords. Two minutes. Give your hands a try!

Feeling bloated, gassy, or uncomfortably full? Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen demonstrates a simple QRA™ technique he calls “Deflate the Belly!”

But here's the twist: He's not massaging your stomach. He's massaging your BICEPS!

Here's how:

• Find the belly of your biceps muscle on the front of your upper arm.
• Gently explore the muscle for the most tender spot.
• Apply firm, controlled pressure and massage for 60 seconds.
• Move along the biceps to find other tender areas.
• Repeat as needed and notice how your belly feels afterward.

In Jimmy's Quick Restorative Acupressure (QRA™) approach, the biceps are used as a corresponding area for the abdomen.

And Jimmy has a funny way of describing what might happen next: If you start passing gas, you might want to warn the people around you! 😂

Nose feeling blocked or congested? Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen demonstrates a simple QRA™ technique he calls “Press Your Fish Webs!”

The surprising part? You're working on your hands, not your nose!

Here's how:

• Spread your fingers apart and locate the webbing between your fingers.
• Press into the fleshy areas between the finger joints.
• Find the most tender spot.
• Apply firm, controlled pressure for 30 seconds.
• If one finger web doesn't make a difference, move to another.
• Notice whether your nose feels clearer afterward.

In Jimmy's Quick Restorative Acupressure (QRA™) approach, these areas of the hand are used to support sinus comfort.

Don't just focus on your nose. Check your “Fish Webs”!

🦶❄️ Why are your feet freezing when the rest of your body feels perfectly fine?

Cold feet aren't always about the weather. Your circulation, nervous system, and stress response can all influence how warm or cold your feet feel.

Traditional Chinese Medicine also considers different patterns of coldness when looking at your overall health.

Here's what three common patterns may suggest:

🔵 1. BOTH FEET ARE CONSTANTLY COLD

If both feet feel cold alongside fatigue, low energy, and feeling cold easily, traditional practitioners may consider whether your body's warming activity appears reduced.

Outside this framework, circulation, thyroid function, and other factors may also influence temperature.

🟢 2. COLD FEET BUT WARM HANDS

During stress, your nervous system can narrow blood vessels in your extremities, reducing blood flow near the skin and making your feet feel colder.

Traditional practitioners may also consider whether the sensation changes with emotional tension or activity.

🌙 3. FEET GET COLDER AT NIGHT

Your feet may feel colder at night because of room temperature, reduced movement, or changes in circulation.

Traditional practitioners may consider this alongside fatigue, sensitivity to cold, and other physical signs.

Here's the anxious stress connection:

Some people experience anxious stress as feeling wired, restless, and overstimulated.

Others feel anxious while also experiencing exhaustion, low energy, and feeling physically cold.

Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen calls this second presentation Low-Reserve anxious stress.

Recognizing how stress affects your body can help you better understand your overall pattern.

Neuropathy Pain? Pinch Your “Sausages”!

Experiencing burning, tingling, or uncomfortable sensations in your toes? Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen demonstrates a simple QRA™ technique he calls “Pinch Your Sausages!”

Here's how:

• Start with one finger and gently pinch along it.
• Explore the sides and surrounding areas for the most tender spots.
• Massage those tender areas for 30 seconds.

Do your legs feel restless when you're trying to fall asleep? Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen demonstrates two simple stretches inspired by the Liver and Gallbladder pathways in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Here's how:

1. Stretch #1: Toes Pointing Backward

Kneel with your knees shoulder-width apart.

Point your feet and toes straight backward.

Slowly sit back toward your heels.

Hold the stretch for 60 seconds.

2. Stretch #2: Toes Pointing Inward

Stay in a kneeling position.

Turn your toes inward toward each other.

Slowly sit back toward your heels.

Hold for 60 seconds.

Jimmy associates these stretches with the Liver and Gallbladder pathways, traditionally used in TCM to support comfortable movement and balance.

The gentle stretching may help you unwind and reduce muscle tension before bedtime.

Two stretches. 60 seconds each. Try them before bed!

Move gently and only as far as your knees and ankles comfortably allow.

Blood pressure going up? Jimmy “Acu Sensei” Yen demonstrates a simple QRA™ technique focusing on the heart-shaped area of your triceps.

Look at the back of your upper arm. Jimmy describes the triceps muscle as resembling an upside-down heart.

Here's how:

• Find the triceps muscle on the back of your upper arm.
• Locate the heart-shaped muscle area Jimmy demonstrates.
• Gently massage that area for 60 seconds.
• Check your blood pressure before and afterward to observe any changes.

Jimmy uses this technique as part of his approach to supporting the body's natural regulation of blood pressure.

Remember, this technique is intended to complement your existing blood pressure care, not replace prescribed medication.
