🏆 Celebrating Quality Care at AHCA 2026! 🏆

Our Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Justine, and Director of Nursing, Katie, had the opportunity to spend a few days in Boston, Massachusetts, attending the American Health Care Association (AHCA) Convention!

While there, they proudly celebrated Harmony Cedar Rapids receiving the National Bronze Quality Award in recognition of our commitment to continuous improvement and quality care. This award represents the dedication, hard work, and compassion of our entire Harmony Cedar Rapids team, who work every day to make a difference in the lives of our residents. ❤️

The convention also provided an opportunity to continue learning, gain valuable insights, and bring new ideas back to our facility as we continue striving for excellence in long-term care.

While Justine and Katie were honored to represent our facility in Boston, this achievement belongs to the entire Harmony Cedar Rapids team! We are so proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and provide the highest quality of care to our residents. 🌟

This week’s staff appreciation event brought all the taco-loving goodness to Harmony Cedar Rapids! 🎉🌮

Our team works hard every day to provide the best care for our residents, and we love finding fun ways to show them how much they’re appreciated. ❤️

Because at Harmony Cedar Rapids, our staff deserve all the tacos and appreciation! 🌮💚

This week’s staff appreciation was a classic comfort-food favorite: Sloppy Joes & chips! 🥪❤️

And these weren’t just any Sloppy Joes—they were made using our Director of Nursing Katie’s mom’s recipe! 👩‍🍳❤️

Staff said they were “to die for” and, of course, many had to come back for seconds! 😋

We keep our staff fed and fueled so they can keep doing what they do best—taking amazing care of our residents! ❤️

🎳🎮 The residents at Harmony Cedar Rapids take Wii Bowling VERY seriously.

Our Wii Bowling tournaments bring out the competitive spirit, the celebrations, the rivalries… and occasionally some questionable calls from the virtual bowling alley.

And the best part? You can often find our residents independently playing Wii with each other at all hours of the day… and sometimes even night! 🌙🎮

Who needs a bowling alley when you’ve got Wii Bowling and a little friendly competition? 🎳🏆

🍎🍏 A sweet treat for our amazing staff! 🍏🍎

This week, our team was treated to a delicious Caramel Apple Bar thanks to our wonderful community partners at Care Initiatives Hospice! 🥰

Our staff had so much fun creating their own caramel apple creations with all the delicious toppings. Thank you, Care Initiatives Hospice, for helping us show our team just how appreciated they are! ❤️

FRONT ENTRANCE CONSTRUCTION BEGINNING MONDAY

Our front entrance will be under construction as we make improvements, including a new retaining wall, wheelchair ramp, and stairs!

🚪 PLEASE USE OUR SIDE ENTRANCE

During construction, all visitors must use the side entrance located at the North end of the parking lot, near RCI.

🔔 A doorbell will be available outside the entrance.
Please ring the doorbell when you arrive, and a team member will assist you.
