One of the things I’ve become more particular about the longer I do this work is what I actually put on your skin.
We talk a lot about technique, pressure, training and what a practitioner’s hands can do.
But the product being worked into your skin for an hour?
That can become an afterthought.
Not on my table.
Carollanne, the woman behind Solavedi Organics, is a big reason why.
Calling her my skincare mentor almost feels inadequate. She’s taught me about Ayurveda, bodywork, skin, plants and formulation—and reinforced something I believe pretty strongly:
The details clients don’t see still matter.
Carollanne is one of those people who has learned and accomplished so much in one lifetime that I’m only half convinced she hasn’t lived for several centuries. And she is particular.
I mean that as the highest compliment.
She formulates and makes Solavedi products in small batches, paying serious attention to the quality and sourcing of ingredients and how the botanicals themselves are handled and prepared.
There are cheaper products I could use. Easier products. Products with much bigger marketing budgets.
I choose Solavedi because I know the difference.
These two surprise gifts—her newly reformulated Ayurvedic Beautifying Cleansing Milk and Wild Fern Leaf Barrier Shield Infusion—made my day. Her note explained that she reformulated the cleansing milk simply because extreme shipping temperatures could affect its consistency.
Most people would have called it good enough.
Carollanne made it better.
And that’s exactly why I trust her products on my clients.
When you book with me, you’re paying for my hands, education and experience—but also for the quieter decisions I make behind the scenes about what deserves to be used on your body.
The quality of a treatment isn’t just about what I do with my hands. It’s also about what’s underneath them.
Thank you, Carollanne—for the gifts, the education, and for setting the bar so high.
