So, what does a Vet Tech, or as we prefer to call them, Vet Nurse REALLY do? Spoiler alert: It’s SO much more than cuddling puppies and kittens! 🐶🐱

Vet nurses are essential members of the veterinary team, providing hands-on medical care, technical support, and compassionate nursing to animals every day. Here’s just a glimpse:

🩸 Collect samples, run lab tests, take X-rays 💊 Administer medications, provide nursing care 🩺 Assist with surgery, monitor anesthesia 🚨 Provide emergency care, stabilize patients 🐾 Handle patients safely and reduce their stress 💙 Educate pet parents on treatments, nutrition, and preventive care 📋 Maintain medical records, equipment, and supplies ❤️ Comfort patients, support families, advocate for animals who cannot speak for themselves
