Did you know if we are overweight or obese, our brain diminishes in size and function? Yes, you read it correctly!
A compelling study from the University of Pittsburgh joins others in asserting this very finding. Researchers there used the body mass index (BMI) of their subjects as a reference point. What they discovered was that if a person was overweight—a BMI between 25 and 30—he had 4% less brain volume and his brain looked 8 years older than that of a healthy person. If a person was obese—BMI over 30—she had 8% less brain volume and her brain looked 16 years older than that of a healthy person.

😍 Three ingredients + 5 minutes is all it takes to whip up these healthy, no-bake protein bars!

These gluten and dairy-free snacks are perfect for a midday pick-me-up or refueling after a workout.

🍪1 cup coconut flour
🍪4 scoops TLS Shake - Vanilla
🍪1/2+ cup almond milk
🍪1/2 cup nut butter of choice, optional
🍪 Cocoa nibs

🍪Line a baking tray with greased baking paper, set aside.
🍪In large bowl, combine coconut flour, TLS Shake, and optional nut butter
🍪 Add almond milk and mix until a thick dough is formed, adding more as needed
🍪 Transfer to lined baking dish and press firmly until it’s reached all edges.
🍪Top with cocoa nibs + refrigerate for at least 45 minutes

🍒½ c almond flour
🍒½ cup PB2, prepared
🍒½ cup applesauce
🍒½ cup berries

🍒Preheat oven to 350F and prepare 8 muffin tins
🍒In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients
🍒Add PB2 & applesauce, then fully combine
🍒Gently mix in berries
🍒Divide batter among muffin tins & bake for 10 minutes or until knife comes out clean
