I’m Heather Bradley, PMHNP-BC, founder of Four Pathways Mental Health—a sanctuary for the misunderstood and overlooked. I provide integrative psychiatric care for adults whose mental health concerns don’t fit neatly into one box. If you’ve felt unheard, misdiagnosed, or boxed in by the healthcare system, you’re not alone. Care here is slower and more thoughtful, looking at mental health alongside physical health, stress, identity, and lived experience to build a plan that fits your real life, not just a checklist. My approach blends thoughtful medication management with lifestyle and holistic support when appropriate. This work is grounded in both clinical training and lived experience, with space for compassion, individuality, and even humor. Healing doesn’t have to be sterile. (Educational content only. Not medical advice. Not a substitute for individualized care.)

“You're fine. It's just stress.”

But that explanation doesn't always fit.

For so many women, the changes that come with perimenopause look nothing like what we were taught to expect. Anxiety that feels different, changes in sleep, difficulty concentrating, or simply not feeling quite like yourself.

Stress may be part of it. Hormones may be part of it. And sometimes, it's a combination of things.

That's part of why I created 𝗜𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱, a program designed to help women better understand perimenopause, how it affects our bodies and minds, and what we can actually do about it.

Because understanding what's happening shouldn't feel like putting together a puzzle without all the pieces.

𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻? We're also hosting a free community gathering on November 12 in Gilbert, bringing together women's health and wellness professionals to talk about all things perimenopause.

4.1 BILLION women in the world. And we're still asking, “Wait… is THIS perimenopause?!”

How did we make it to our 40s without anyone telling us THIS?!

We heard about the hot flashes.

But the aching joints? The sudden lack of patience? The anxiety, exhaustion, and feeling like we don't quite recognize ourselves anymore?

Nobody really prepared us for that part.

And here's the kicker: perimenopause can start years before we ever expect it.

It's time we started having these conversations.

Join us for In Her Right Mind: Wait, Is This Perimenopause?

An intimate, FREE evening with women's health and wellness professionals, talking about the changes nobody warned us about.

Bring your questions, your girlfriends, or just your curiosity. You don't have to be experiencing perimenopause to join us!

It's 3 AM. Why am I awake AGAIN?!

Exhausted at 8 PM. Wide awake at 3 AM. And somehow expected to function like a normal human being at 7 AM.

Sound familiar?

Sleep changes are one of the more frustrating parts of perimenopause, and they can start long before the hot flashes or irregular periods we typically associate with it.

Trouble falling asleep, waking throughout the night, or suddenly becoming a very unwilling member of the 3 AM club.

And while hormones aren't always the whole explanation, they're certainly worth considering.

Sleep is just one of the many topics we're bringing to the table at 𝗜𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱: 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁, 𝗜𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲?

Join us November 12, from 6 to 8 PM in Gilbert, for a free evening of conversation with women's health and wellness professionals.

Come with questions, bring a friend, or just come to listen and learn.

Open your laptop. Forget what you were about to do. Remember it ten minutes later, when you're doing something completely different.

Sound familiar?

Brain fog isn't always about forgetting things. Sometimes it's losing your train of thought mid-conversation, struggling to find the right word, or rereading the same paragraph three times because absolutely nothing is sticking.

Changes in memory and concentration can become more noticeable during perimenopause, especially when sleep isn't cooperating either.

But hormones aren't necessarily the only factor, and understanding how everything connects is important.

That's part of what inspired me to create In Her Right Mind, a program exploring the physical, mental, and emotional changes of perimenopause, along with practical ways to navigate them.

And we're bringing some of those conversations into the community!

In Her Right Mind: Wait, Is This Perimenopause?!

Join us Thursday, November 12, from 6 to 8 PM in Gilbert, AZ, for a free evening with women's health and wellness professionals.

We'll be talking about the changes we don't always recognize, sharing different perspectives, and answering your questions along the way.

Whether you're navigating perimenopause, wondering what might be ahead, or simply curious, we'd love to have you join us.

There's something uniquely irritating about someone asking why you're so irritated.

Like... I was already hanging on by a thread, and now we're doing follow-up questions?!

Some days you have the patience of a saint. Other days, one more phone call, one more interruption, or one more "quick question" and you're ready to put yourself on Do Not Disturb. Permanently.

And the weirdest part? When you catch yourself thinking, "Since WHEN did I become this easily annoyed?"

We hear plenty about hot flashes during perimenopause. The sudden urge to be left alone for five freaking minutes? Not nearly enough.

And that's exactly the kind of stuff I want us talking about!

In Her Right Mind: Wait, Is This Perimenopause?!

Join us November 12, from 6 to 8 PM in Gilbert, for a FREE evening with women's health and wellness professionals.

We're talking about the changes nobody really prepared us for, the questions we all have, and what we can actually do about them.

Come curious, bring your questions, and feel free to laugh at yourself a little. I promise you won't be the only one.

A lot of women our age are sorting through three very different sources of information.

What our mothers were told.

What medicine knows now.

And whatever the internet is very sure about this week.

No wonder it can be hard to know what to do with all of it.

The goal is not to chase every new test, supplement, treatment, or health claim that crosses your feed. It is to have enough context to ask better questions, know when something is worth bringing up, and make decisions that fit your own health and life.

That is a big part of what we are wrapping up in Week 6 of In Her Right Mind.

There is a lot of space between ignoring it and trying everything.

Perimenopause can mess with some surprisingly personal parts of life.

Not just how you feel physically, but how you see yourself, how connected you feel to other people, what you want from intimacy, and how much of your identity has been built around being the one who keeps everything moving.

And because apparently one explanation would be too convenient, hormones, stress, mood, medication, relationships, and physical changes can all end up in the same conversation.

Week 5 of In Her Right Mind is about making sense of those changes without automatically deciding something is wrong with you or your relationship.

If this stage has you rethinking a few things, you can learn more about the program through the link in my bio.

Have you ever had one of those days where an activity you normally do feels way harder than it should?

Not impossible, just enough to make you think, what is going on with me today?

That is part of what we are talking about this week inside In Her Right Mind.

Movement can feel different during perimenopause, and sometimes the answer is not more discipline or pushing harder. Sometimes you need to look at the bigger picture, sleep, stress, food, recovery, hormones, and what your body has been showing you lately.

One weird day is one thing.

A pattern is worth paying attention to.

Remember when you could stay up until midnight, drink coffee the next morning, and somehow still function?

Yeah…me too.

Now one bad night of sleep can make you question every life decision by lunchtime.

There’s actually a reason for that.

In Week 2 of In Her Right Mind, we’re unpacking why sleep changes during perimenopause and why improving it is about so much more than just getting more hours in bed.

Swipe through for a preview, and if this sounds familiar, you’ll find more information through the link in my bio.

Some reminders are easier to believe than others.

I keep these on my desk because my ADHD has an “out of sight, out of mind” policy.

Some days they help. Some days they’re not enough.

The last few months have been a whirlwind of learning, pushing through discomfort, a few breakdowns, and a lot of growth.

One thing I’ve realized is that doing the thing doesn’t always mean you’ve overcome the fear. Sometimes the fear travels right alongside you. It just turns out you can do a lot of things while you’re scared.

And some days, you can’t. Which is perfectly human.

If today isn’t your day, that’s okay. Try again tomorrow if you can.

Maybe one of you needed to hear this today as much as I did.
