A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Josh, the winner of Shenandoah Center’s Alzheimer’s fundraiser raffle! 🎉🎟️

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our residents, families, staff, and community, we raised $450 to support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease! 💜

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, donated, and helped make our fundraiser a success. Every contribution brings us one step closer to a future without Alzheimer’s. 🫶

🎓💙Congratulations to Our Newest CNA Graduates!💙🎓

Our students complete a six-week course, with the final portion consisting of hands-on training here at Shenandoah Center. A special thank you to our residents for being the best teachers and helping prepare the next generation of compassionate caregivers!❤️

We are grateful to give back to our community through this program and are excited that many of our graduates will continue their career with Shenandoah and our sister centers, Canterbury Center and Care Haven Center. And as always, a huge thank you to our wonderful educator, Patrice, for her dedication to every class. Congratulations, graduates! 🎉👏

🎉Congratulations, Marcia Lynn on Your Successful Discharge!🎉

Marcia first came to us in June following surgery. She required the assistance of two people to sit up in bed and transfer. Through her hard work, determination, and dedication to therapy, Marcia is now back on her own two feet and returning home to her husband, dog, and family! 🏡🐾

This isn't goodbye! We are especially excited that Marcia will be returning to our center as a volunteer!❤️ It means so much to us that after completing her rehabilitation journey, she has chosen to come back and be part of our community in a whole new way.

Congratulations, Marcia! We are incredibly happy to celebrate this milestone with you and can't wait to welcome you back as a volunteer!🎉👏

Meet Harry Danner, one of our incredibly talented residents who has found a special way to spread kindness throughout our center!

Harry enjoys creating beautiful crosses out of beads and sharing them with our residents and staff. Since being here at Shenandoah, he has handmade more than 1,000 crosses! Each one is created with care and given to brighten someone's day. ✝️

After learning about Harry’s creations, a former resident’s family member reached out to The Beadery who generously donated beads so Harry could continue doing what he loves. We are so grateful for the kindness that made this donation possible and to The Beadery for supporting something that brings so much joy to our Shenandoah community.🌟

We are grateful for you, Harry! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents! ❤️
