What’s behind that inner voice—fear, pressure, curiosity, compassion? 🤍

Jessie and Annalise reflect on the connections between the fruit of the Spirit and the eight C’s of Internal Family Systems, exploring how these qualities can help us get curious about what’s guiding our responses.

It’s an invitation to pause and notice which parts of us may need care.

Just when you think you're wrapping up ... the 49:57 plot twist 😅

Even when difficult things come up at the last minute, every client deserves to feel heard, supported, and met with compassion. ❤️

“Is God mad at me?” “What if I’m not doing enough?”

Those thoughts can feel like spiritual conviction—but as Annalise Lind, LPC, shares, they may come from a fearful part of you trying to keep you safe.

There’s room to get curious about that fear: What is it protecting? What might be hurting underneath? 🤍

Jessie and Annalise explore scrupulosity and the ways faith and fear get tangled on The Steadfast Podcast.

Even the part of you that resists healing deserves curiosity. 🤍

Annalise Lind, LPC, reminds us that God welcomes every part of us. Making space to understand our pain can help us recognize what we carry into our relationships—and give us room to respond with more care.

That work can be sacred, even when it feels messy.

Your story shows up in the present—in your reactions, your relationships, and the moments that feel bigger than what’s happening right now.

Becoming a Christian doesn’t mean your past no longer needs care. Exploring what shaped you can be a meaningful part of healing, spiritual growth, and learning to respond with greater awareness. 🤍

A few tiny reminders for the heavy days 🤍

You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to turn every hard moment into a lesson. And you don't have to be okay all the time.

Give yourself permission to slow down, feel what you feel, and take the next small step when you're ready.

Save this for a day when you need a little extra grace. 🌿

There’s slime on the table, glitter in the carpet, and somebody definitely broke something. Life is happening. 😂

An emotionally safe home can look like that, too.

There can be room for big feelings, honest conversations, apologies, and connection—even when the house is loud and the laundry isn’t folded. 🤍

What happens when you tell your partner how you feel?

Being met with curiosity creates room for connection. Being met with silence meant to punish you can make opening up feel unsafe.

Needing time to process is different from using silence as punishment. You deserve space to express your feelings without fear of retaliation. 🤍

Our kids don’t need the job of keeping everyone in the room okay. 🤍

We can have hard feelings and still take responsibility for them. “I’m frustrated, but it’s not your job to fix my feelings” can be a powerful reassurance.

Letting kids be kids includes giving them room to feel their own emotions without carrying ours.
