We are very thankful to each of our grant funders that made it possible to offer this Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) AAC training workshop with the The Center for AAC & Autism earlier this week! 💙💛🗣️📲

The room was filled with an incredible mix of parents, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior therapists/specialists, paraprofessionals, educators—all coming together with one common goal: improving communication access for individuals who use AAC.

Participants traveled from 9 different counties in West Virginia, and we were honored to welcome attendees from Allegheny County, PA who traveled to learn from our amazing presenter, Melissa Pouncey, who came all the way from Alabama! 🤩

Thanks Element Edge for being our host venue, Jack & the Bean Coffee Company for the speciality morning drinks ☕️, Charleston Bread for the morning pastries 🥐 , and lunch by Chef Ke 🍝! Thanks to Burns Exposures Photography, LLC for capturing the day! 📸

Hello October! 👋👋👋

We would like to kick off AAC Awareness Month by sharing this film from our 2026 Talking Time AAC Summer Camp!

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Awareness Month is recognized every October to raise global awareness of communication tools and celebrate individuals who use non-spoken methods to express themselves! 🗣📲

Our AAC Summer Camp was the catalyst that kicked off Exceptional Possibilities of WV back in July of 2023! We are extremely passionate about serving and celebrating individuals who use all different forms of communication, and we believe that every voice should be heard and valued!
