🏃‍♀️💙 Our Lowcountry Oncology team laced up their sneakers and hit the course this past Saturday at the Lung Force Run/Walk benefiting the American Lung Association!

It was an inspiring morning spent supporting a cause that is especially meaningful to many of the patients and families we serve. We are proud to stand alongside our community in the fight against lung cancer and other lung diseases.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and cheered us on. Every step moves us closer to a future with healthier lungs for all.

CAR-T cell therapy was once only available at a handful of major academic centers. That has changed, and it matters for patients in our community.

If CAR-T may be relevant to your diagnosis, that conversation can start right here at Lowcountry Oncology Associates. We can help evaluate whether you may be a candidate and coordinate referrals to authorized treatment centers, so your care does not have to start over somewhere new.

Liver cancer can be difficult to detect early because it may not cause noticeable symptoms at first.

For people at higher risk, regular monitoring may help find liver cancer sooner, when more treatment options may be available. Certain liver conditions, including cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis, can increase your risk.

This Liver Cancer Awareness Month, learn who may benefit from regular monitoring and what to discuss with your healthcare provider: https://www.lowcountryoncology.com/2026/10/08/auto-draft-liver-cancer-surveillance/

Your family’s health history can tell you more than you might think 🧬

Knowing whether certain cancers or health conditions run in your family can help you and your care team better understand your risk and make informed decisions about screening and prevention.

This National Family Health History Day, take a few minutes to talk with your family about their health history, and share what you learn with your healthcare provider.

A conversation today could help protect your health tomorrow. 💙
