White Flag Yoga It's about Surrendering~ White Flag Recovery Yoga was born out of Kimberly's own quest for HOLISTIC Recovery and the deep desire to share that with others.

We hold meetings both online on ZOOM and in person weekly. We start with a discussion circle and then we have a breath and movement practice designed to move and release energy and stored tension and dysregulation in the body. Coming back to center over, and over, again in life, is like coming back to the mat, over and over and over. Keeps us honest and true, and on the right path....

Sacred Sundays at Satsang
4pm - 5:30(ish) usually goes to 5:40.

WHITE FLAG YOGA 12 | SUNDAYS AT 4 PM 🕊️

A weekly invitation to slow down, move inward, and reconnect with yourself.

White Flag Yoga 12 weaves together the ancient wisdom of yoga, the spiritual principles of the 12 Steps, and trauma-informed Movement Medicine to support the body, mind, and spirit.

Through breathwork, rhythmic repetition, bilateral movement, pendulation, gentle yoga, meditation, and mindful stillness, we explore ways to regulate the nervous system, soften resistance, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence.

Each week brings a new teaching, an opportunity for self-inquiry, and space to practice the art of surrender.

This is not about how well you move, but how deeply you can listen.

No yoga experience or connection to a 12-Step program is necessary. All are welcome, exactly as they are.

Sundays at 4 PM | In Person

Bring a yoga mat, clothing you can move in and water bottle.

WHITE FLAG | Morning Movement Medicine
Sufi Grinds — Awakening the Pelvic Bowl
A simple morning ritual to awaken the body, circulate energy, and come hOMe to ourselves.

Moving slowly around the pelvic bowl, we soften the hips, mobilize the spine, and invite breath into the body.

☀️ Circling right — connecting with Pingala, our solar channel, associated with Yang energy, vitality, warmth, and activation.

🌙 Circling left — connecting with Ida, our lunar channel, associated with Yin energy, receptivity, softness, and restoration.

In yogic tradition, these two subtle energy channels represent the complementary forces within us.

A gentle dance between effort and surrender, movement and stillness, Yin and Yang.
No force. No destination.

Just the medicine of moving slowly enough to feel ourselves.

Before we move into the world, we move into ourselves.🫶🏼

Downward-Facing Dog—is almost deceptively simple. But as a morning posture, it does an extraordinary amount of work at once!

I think of it less as a “yoga pose” and more as a whole-body morning reset.

Why Downward Dog in the morning?

After hours of sleep, the body has been relatively still. Fascia is less hydrated and mobile, joints haven’t moved through much range, the posterior chain can feel shortened, and circulation is transitioning from rest into activity. Downward Dog asks the body to lengthen, load, breathe and orient all at once.

In Downward Dog we turn inward... and quirky ask...

What does my body actually feel like today?

You can pedal the feet. Bend one knee and then the other. Sway the hips. Soften the jaw. Let the head hang without collapsing into the shoulders.

***Notice where there is resistance without immediately trying to change it.

Become the witness of your own embodied experience.

Keep it simple

Sensory Neuro aesthetics.. all that we see, feel, smell, touch, hear...

Beauty as medicine.
