💉 Why might filler not be right for you?

Dermal filler can be a great option for some patients, but it isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment.

Factors like your facial anatomy, skin quality, existing volume, and physical health are important.

1. Bruising and swelling
whenever we use needles to puncture the skin, there is always a chance of bruising and swelling as an inflammatory response. This is completely normal and will subside.
2. Unevenness.
Whether it’s your filler that just got injected or your Botox has not fully kicked in one day part of your filler may be more swollen than the other and another day vice versa. With Botox one part of your face may kick in before the other and it’s very important. You wait a full 14 days before we redose you.
3. Pain
When you get multiple procedures done at the same time, you may feel like you are a little bit sore from all of the poking. Take some Tylenol to help ease the soreness. However, any sharp pain is not normal and you should contact me immediately.
4. Peeling
If you’re getting a skincare treatment done, then the scariest part is gonna be the peeling and the dry flaky part of the healing process. This is not a fun time but trust me as long as you don’t pick at it you will see amazing skin results.
